But even so, the Witcher saw that the amount of Orens alone was at least around one hundred thousand.
Adding other heavy items like jewelry and ornaments, the total value was at least two hundred thousand Orens.
Not only that, what surprised Guilliman even more was that in the vast treasury, besides these jewels, there were also fifty sets of full metal knight plate armor neatly arranged.
These weren't the standard plate armor used by ordinary cavalry, cheap goods; each piece was intricately carved, worthy of being a family heirloom for many minor nobles, aristocratic metal plate armor.
Although Guilliman wasn't very clear about the market for these items, he estimated that each set of aristocratic full metal plate armor was worth about five thousand Orens, and they were priceless, extremely precious.
Whether used as equipment, decoration, or trade goods, they were all excellent choices.
This meant that if he plundered this treasury, he could acquire nearly five hundred thousand Orens of wealth.
As expected of one of the top noble families in the Kingdom of Temeria, this was simply a windfall that made him rich overnight.
Fortunately, his storage space was large enough to hold everything in the treasury.
Otherwise, even if a tiny bit was left, it would be enough to break his heart.
As for what retaliation he would face later?
Sorry, as a daring transmigrator, did they expect him to spit out what he had already eaten?
Guilliman even wished for more such enemies, so he would have an excuse to plunder more nobles and quickly accumulate his initial capital.
With so much money, whether for the Velen territory or his Witcher academy, the initial funds would certainly be sufficient.
In any world, money is a powerful force.
He was all too familiar with the saying that money makes the world go round... The next afternoon arrived in a flash.
After receiving Guilliman's attack signal, the army led by Foltest swiftly launched a siege on the Principality of Maribor.
Maribor City, completely unprepared, was caught off guard.
When the soldiers reported this news to their superiors, they were shocked to discover that not only was the Prince missing, but all eight of the most important figures in the entire city, along with their guards, had all died in Prince Maribor's council hall.
Everyone was frozen solid, and the heads of those important figures were all missing. Their deaths were both tragic and bizarre, even scaring several soldiers who came to investigate.
With such a turn of events, the entire defense of Maribor City faced immense problems; there wasn't even a single person in the entire city capable of taking charge.
When King Foltest's army surrounded Maribor City, the city had almost lost all will to fight and could only offer passive resistance.
It would probably only take a day or two for the war-savvy King Foltest to conquer it.
Unfortunately, as the greatest contributor to this war, Guilliman did not meet the King. Instead, he took the unconscious Prince Maribor directly back to Vizima, bringing the mastermind behind the assassination of the Princess alive before Adda.
In Adda's bedchamber, even though Guilliman carried an unconscious living person, no guards or maids dared to stop him.
The Witcher roughly threw Prince Maribor to the ground, his eyes calm but a smile on his lips, saying with a somewhat boastful tone:
"My beautiful Princess, your Witcher has completed his commission and brought you a gift that will surely satisfy you."
"This fellow is the mastermind behind your assassination, Prince Yurkast."
"I captured this King alive and brought him before you, solely so you can have your revenge personally."
Such a gift was indeed astonishing.
Even in human history, not many kings have been captured alive, let alone a king used as a gift.
Adda was stunned for a few seconds, then an expression of excitement and joy appeared on her face.
Disregarding the gazes of the surrounding ladies-in-waiting and servants, she shrieked and leaped into the Witcher's arms, wrapping her arms around his neck and passionately kissing him.
Her madly excited demeanor was indeed completely unlike that of a lady Princess.
However, Adda was a stunningly beautiful woman, and her wild appearance had a unique charm.
"Guilliman, you are my hero."
"I love you, I will always love you!"
The Princess was clearly genuinely moved. She hugged Guilliman and kissed him for seven or eight minutes, her body soft and some areas sweating.
If there weren't other things to do, she might have stripped naked and furiously demanded more right then and there.
Guilliman held Princess Adda in one arm, then handed her the incredibly sharp Viper Dagger, his gaze drifting to the bound man on the floor, and said playfully:
"Do you want to kill him yourself, Princess?"
"I promised not to kill him personally. If you do it, it counts as me keeping my word."
Hearing the Witcher's rather shameless words, Princess Adda instead chuckled.
She unhesitatingly took the sharp Viper Dagger, licked her blood-red lips, and said excitedly:
"I'll do it myself, Guilliman."
"I want to personally cut open his stomach and thoroughly study how much blood is truly inside a person."
Guilliman shrugged, agreeing to the plan.
The wild beauty Adda was also part of this Princess's charm.
