The fluidity of the battlefield was like mercury; the side that was superior one moment could fall into a defeated state right after. Both sides had hidden their trump cards very well; they weren't revealing them until it was their turn.
"Eyshan, you finally managed to summon us!"
"The little girl wants our help!"
"So be it, but she must pay the price!"
Ten people, radiating a death energy at least as heavy as the former Sheikh of the Holy Blood Sect, appeared behind Eyshan. The moment she and her two fiends saw the shadows, they immediately gave their greetings; the Queen of Hell was kneeling for the first time.
"Good, good, you are much smarter than that stupid father of yours!"
"The foolish man always saw our existence as unnecessary and a rebellion against time!"
Even though the one they were talking about was her own biological father, Eyshan didn't open her mouth; she looked more obedient than she had ever been.
"Eternals, I request your help to clear the final obstacles standing before my goal!"
When Eyshan, who spoke without lifting her head from the ground, finished her words, the ten people remained silent until one of them stepped forward.
"What will you give in return?"
"My elders, the Mercenaries are on the brink of a civil war, and after what happened today, it is guaranteed that they will go at each other's throats. The Holy Bone Lands will be used as a base for our invasion campaign, and as for you, I promise the Holy Blood Lands. You will live right in the middle of massive blood stone veins, inside the blood stones that have kept you alive for centuries.
Your requests will be met without question, and the energy you spend today will be replenished manifold. Now tell me, will you bestow your power upon me?"
The deal was already ready; when Eyshan explained it, twisted smiles appeared on the rotten faces.
"We accept, as the former sheikhs of the four sects, we will help you cleanse the traitors in our lands today!"
The spokesperson of the ten people, who finally revealed who they were, was choosing their words carefully; they didn't hesitate to declare the ones opposing them as traitors, but one person had an objection to this.
"Instead of bringing you wisdom, the years have only widened the hole in your character!"
The former Sheikh of the Holy Blood was the closest person to them and he had an objection to what was being said.
"Shut your trap, brat!"
"When your elders are speaking, there's only one thing left for you to do, and that is to die!"
When the spokesperson of the Ten Sheikhs lashed out, their addressee only laughed; there was no way to deal with these impudent people by talking.
"Nafız, what kind of place is this! Walking corpses are calling another corpse a brat. Is there anyone actually alive in these lands?"
Alyon couldn't resolve his confusion in the face of what he saw; he was right to ask for his friend's help.
"I don't know about the one on our side, but I'm sure these guys will be entering where they belong very soon. It's fine if they enter themselves, otherwise I'll shove them in headfirst!"
When the audacious words of the Blood God reached their ears, the Ten Sheikhs turned their heads in her direction; hatred was pouring from their gazes.
"Filthy orcs have entered our lands!"
"We will cleanse them too, they will stay in the tiny place they are crammed into!"
This time it was Alyon's turn to lash out.
"You're going to do it? Like your ancestors who turned tail and ran back in the day?"
The showdown was reaching its climax, but a roar wreaked havoc on the area. The owner of the voice was none other than the new Sheikh of the Holy Blood Sect, Aspero.
"By what right do you usurp what belongs to my sect? I will take it all back, you will pay for your sins!"
The Ten Sheikhs had been clinging to life with blood stones for so long that it was impossible for Aspero not to feel the blood stones stolen from his own lands. He was the Holy Blood Sect, the Holy Blood Sect was him; he began to absorb the blood energy.
"This isn't good!"
"The brat is drawing the power from our bodies!"
"Even if it's very little, it will be enough to kill us in time!"
"Attack!"
"Kill him right now!"
The time for talking was over; they launched a mass attack towards the person posing the greatest danger.
"Lareina, now!"
When eyes turned to the young girl, everyone saw the six bodies lying in front of her, covered with yellow talisman paper; all of them were covered with various symbols.
"Awaken!"
Along with the call, the talisman papers began to tear apart; along with them, the flesh, bone, and blood of the corpses inside were also tearing apart and mixing into the air. A few breaths passed, the scattered pieces gathered together, and now they looked completely different.
"Well look here, who do I see?"
"They truly hadn't died, they were hiding in their graves in shame!"
"He He He, Grodel how are you? Have you been able to forget the time I separated your flesh from your bone with my axe?"
"Don't talk to these scumbags who have stooped so low as to fight against their own race!"
The first to assemble were the ones wearing robes with the Holy Blood Sect emblem on them; their presence created a great uproar around them.
"The Holy Blood Disciples greet the Sheikhs!"
The hundred people shooting out of the talismans dropped to their knees in front of the foursome; they had a serious expression on their faces.
"Stand up, we are merely illusions of our existence on the Hidden World. While the Sheikh is here, there is no need for you to offer us your respect!"
The girl, who looked to be in her twenties, shouted with the vigor of youth; no one could believe she was someone who had lived for centuries.
"As you command!"
Then the fifth person started to form; when completed, a beautiful woman emerged.
"Isabel!"
Abarran, the man who hadn't opened his mouth until that moment, cried out. Seeing his dead wife again untied his tongue, while his old friend was right beside him.
"Enough of this, let's go!"
"Stop them, don't let them escape!"
Eyshan shouted but in vain; the former Sheikh of the Holy Blood took his friend by his side and vanished into the void, a few breaths later they appeared next to the others. The environment was so chaotic that if you lost your focus even a little, it was impossible to notice what was happening right beside you.
"My wife, my beautiful wife!"
Abarran hugged the incarnated Isabel, smelled her, and couldn't get enough of kissing her. The beautiful woman didn't speak; the tears streaming from her eyes expressed her feelings instead. The couple, separated for more than a century, were doing whatever came from within, not caring that they were experiencing their reunion right in the middle of a war.
They were very happy, but the sides were also playing their last trump cards. The end had come in the war that would determine the front that would rule the lands. On one side the Eternals and the Queen of Hell, on the other side the Holy Blood Sect and the Orc Forces.
This was what it looked like, but the final talisman papers were just taking shape in the air; until the roar that broke out, no one could have known who would come out of it.
"Alyon, brutality itself is coming. Get ready to fight!"
Unlike the others, the newly formed person was green in color; the two massive fangs hanging from his mouth and the red tribal tattoos on his skin were the first things to catch the eye.
"Master!"
A breath later, the person who disappeared from sight appeared in front of Nafız in her Nora disguise, resting on one knee.
"Stand up, Blood Warrior Sangre. Your weapons await you!"
Nafız handed over the bow the size of a human and the six throwing knives; the weapons were vibrating to reunite with their owner. When the green hands gripped the cold metal, a lightning bolt struck down from the pitch-black sky, the air tore, the earth cracked.
Nafız and Blood Warrior Sangre were reuniting. The duo who parted ways on one battlefield came together in the midst of another war.
