The existence of Aspero's master was an enigma, but the bloody battlefield wasn't the place to question it or learn the truth. One of the three former Holy Fire Sheikhs had fallen, and the other was following right behind him.
Right after the death of the man he called brother, Alyon didn't miss the target this time; the cutting edge of the war hammer came down from above on the head positioned sideways, cleaving the body cleanly in two.
"A man who ruled a region? I am Alyon, the man who rules all the Orc Steppes, are you going to stop me with a corpse like this?"
The hulking orc warrior roared and turned his head towards the last surviving target. Alis had taken down one, he the other; only one person was alive, or so Alyon thought.
"You're really something, Orc Chief Alyon!"
Nafız called out with a huge smile on her face, accompanied by the old man's body at the tip of her daggers that exceeded a meter in length.
"When did you kill him?"
"If you're surprised by this, we've got a lot of work to do!"
The job was done on the orc front; three of the ten Eternals had been killed at an unexpected speed. Even though one part of the chaotic battlefield was cleared, clashes continued in the other. The seven Eternals, who dodged the massive blood thorns, didn't wait a moment to unleash their unique techniques.
The bitter example was fresh in their memories; an orc and two little kids had easily killed three of them.
The three Holy Ice Sheikhs formed a wall surrounding them completely; this protective formation was only open to attacks coming from the front.
The two Holy Earth Sheikhs went underground and disappeared; they didn't want to stay out in the open and be targets. Lastly, the two Holy Eye Sheikhs were in the sky; they wanted to keep their distance from the enemy.
The seven Eternals didn't attack at the same time; first, the Holy Ice attacked with dull blue stars. Simultaneously, the Holy Eye released soul power to block the escape route towards the sky and formed an invisible boundary. Right after a breath, the ground hardened; the earth rose and pushed the Holy Blood front towards the pressure coming from above.
While being squeezed from above and below, ice stars with edges as sharp as razors were right in front of their eyes. There was only one place they could retreat to, but they were the former Sheikhs of the Holy Blood, how could they run away?
"Watch, watch and see the difference in power between us!"
The scrawny man who was nothing but skin and bones shot forward; the massive axe in his hand trailed behind him.
"Let's go, Viento, show them what you're made of!"
The Third Sheikh was brave enough to bicker with his power animal despite the deadly attack just a breath away. The reason was very simple; the technique that made him the Third Sheikh of the Holy Blood Sect was Corte de Viento.
It's unknown how he would feel if they told him his successor was an orc, but it was obvious the true owner used the technique on a completely different level. The axe, drawn so far back it could rip his arm off, even dragged, shot forward as the old man suddenly stopped, and such a wind was created that most of the rapidly approaching ice stars were scattered around.
Along with the axe, the old man was also swung once; the green energy wrapping his scrawny legs was going to be the end of the remaining ice stars.
"Thanks for the breeze. Now it's my turn!"
The old man named Viento started spinning along with the axe he gripped tightly with both hands. He spun, he spun, and he sped up so much that he became invisible to the naked eye. Where his body used to be, there was now a tornado; the pressure coming from the earth and the sky couldn't get past the air current and meet each other.
This was their chance; the Four Sheikhs summoned to this world along with him realized it was their turn to show their skills. The body of the woman with the beauty of a young girl started to tear apart, deep gashes formed on her arms, the blood that should have stayed in her veins was flowing in torrents.
There would be about seven liters of blood in a normal human's body, but the blood flowing from this woman had long reached massive proportions enough to soak the earth.
"Scorching Blood, roast whoever stands in your way!"
A few breaths later, the screams of the two sheikhs hiding underground accompanied the woman shouting with her teeth clenched together. They shot out like rockets; their deformed bodies were falling apart, their flesh separating from their bones.
"It's high time we brought those two birds down!"
A hulking man from the summoned foursome opened his mouth as wide as it would go and sent blood-red lightning bolts towards the sky. It was night, the weather was cloudy, the moon could occasionally send its light, but after this move, the skies were painted blood red.
A blood rain began, the thunderclaps were relentlessly shattering eardrums like the howling of wild beasts. Then the first lightning struck; taking one of the two Holy Eye Sheikhs suspended in the air with it, it plunged into the earth like a raging spear.
A downpour of lightning started upon the enemy; they were falling relentlessly simultaneously with the rain. Shortly after, the other Holy Eye Sheikh took his place next to his friend; there was no escaping this disaster.
They were trying to protect themselves with their shields made of soul energies, but the blood lightning managed to paralyze their bodies with every strike.
Only one of the summoned Sheikhs hadn't executed his attack; the eyes of the tall and slender man were on the Holy Ice Sheikhs.
Before long, a spear appeared in his right hand, but this weapon didn't look like other spears. Both its ends were pointed, its shaft was thinner than a normal spear. The man took a step forward and the spear he gripped followed him; the Holy Ice Sheikhs hadn't figured out what it was.
Their bewilderment vanished a breath later because the spear was a hand's span away from them. The distance between them wasn't close, how could this blood spear reach them in such a short time?
They immediately blocked the spear with snow-white ice; even though its sharp tip passed through, its shaft couldn't keep up with it. They took a deep breath; they thought they had escaped the surprise attack, but there was something they didn't know; the Former Sheikh of the Holy Blood Sect had sent five more spears in that short interval.
"Ice Sphere!"
The three Holy Ice Sheikhs executed the technique simultaneously. They were surrounded by a glass sphere with snow falling inside. The Blood Spears were striking relentlessly; even though the sphere cracked slightly, it immediately repaired itself and responded.
"Your Highness the Sheikh!"
The Sheikh swinging his spears stopped; a youth at least as tall as him and with a wider build was right beside him.
"I would like to offer you my humble assistance!"
The Former Sheikh looked the youth up and down; his sour face slowly changed.
"Jashua, isn't it?"
"Yes, sir!"
"You can add your ability to my spears. I'm very curious to see what will happen!"
The Young Count was surprised that the Sheikh knew his name, but after he said add your ability, he understood everything. Even though they lived in the Other Realm, they had news of everything belonging to this world, and they knew he could use the First Sheikh's ability.
Jashua reached out and gripped the newly formed Blood Spear.
"Done!"
Before three breaths passed, the process was complete; the Former Sheikh took his spear vibrating too fast for the eye to see and swung it towards the Ice Sphere.
Before a breath passed, the spear stuck into the sphere; the marks of the crack formed were spreading around it. The Ice Sphere immediately wanted to repair itself; as usual, it was going to fix the damage formed, but this time it didn't get its wish.
The ice energy rushing to the area where the spear was stuck was dissipating the moment it touched the blood energy. Repairing the damage was impossible, but the Ice Sphere hadn't broken either; a few more attacks were needed in the same area.
"Jashua, one more time!"
"Sir, there is no need!"
The Sheikh called out to the Young Count, but Jashua had another plan.
"Explode!"
At that moment, the blood spear turned into a sonic explosion, and a huge breach opened in the damaged area. Those in the Other Realm knew the ability he got from the First Sheikh, but there was one thing they forgot. The first ability Jashua learned was Sonic Explosion.
