Chapter 508 - Beş Yüz Sekiz

When the Leader of the Nameless Ten pulled his sword back, the part of Reckless's armor covering half of his body gave up resisting and shattered to pieces. Unlike Hammerstriker, his compatriot on the opposite flank was making the enemy he went after pay dearly.

"What happened to this boy? He's tearing apart the man General Alina sent by her own order!"

His son-in-law's defeat was wiped from his mind; it wasn't a surprising situation, ultimately Alyon was an orc, and being an orc required this. The others lined up beside him were surprised too, but only Dimitri didn't look cheerful.

"It's good that he's in his element, his self-confidence is high, but he needs to finish this job while Reckless is acting!"

The one speaking was none other than his apprentice, Sasha. While his master kept quiet due to his tension, the duty of giving information to those watching the Leader of the Nameless Ten as if hypnotized fell to her. Despite this, her words weren't very effective; after all, people believed what they saw more than what they heard, and the orc warrior was turning his opponent into a rag.

"You were screaming and shouting, what happened? Come on, raise that giant weapon of yours and attack!"

Not only the onlookers, but the orc who was the main character of the event also started speaking based on what his eyes saw, but Reckless, who didn't let go of his weapon for even a moment, gave him no answer. Seconds were passing, and the Leader of the Nameless Ten was delivering his blows without pause, despite this, there was a detail only careful eyes could notice.

"He hasn't been wounded at all. His body hasn't been harmed, let alone heavily, not even slightly!"

Reckless was being tossed left and right with his massive build, his armor was shattered, and he was covered in dirt, but a shade of red was nowhere to be seen on his body. As Sasha spoke for the second time, she raised the volume of her voice a little; perhaps because of this, or perhaps because of the situation she pointed out, the others took her words into consideration this time.

"Our guy is getting tired for nothing, he needs to rein himself in immediately!"

Alyon stated the solution, but it was impossible for the Leader of the Nameless Ten to hear it. Even if he heard it in a few seconds, he would become unable to do anything, because this time, despite taking a blow, Reckless managed to stay standing without being tossed away.

"Time's up, you wretched orc. Now it's my turn!"

Swiftly bringing down his head, which rivaled the mace of his weapon in size, the man struck the orc with such a blow that the Leader of the Nameless Ten, whose both knees buckled, struggled to stay on his feet. If he expected the enemy to let him recover, he was very mistaken; grabbing him with his left hand, Reckless let go of his weapon in his right hand for the first time and started raining punches.

One, two, taking dozens of hits, the orc warrior swung his sword with effort, but as if expecting this, Reckless struck the upper part of the right arm holding the weapon with his body and prevented it from happening. Unable to use his weapon, the orc warrior still managed to create a breath's worth of opening, and opening his mouth wide, he attacked towards the enemy's upper thigh.

Reckless, who hadn't retreated no matter what until that moment, lunged toward his weapon on the ground. Grabbing the mace, he did a backward roll over his shoulder, and the next moment he was on his feet again. Two thin scratches stood out on his left thigh, it was clear the orc warrior couldn't deliver the blow he aimed for onto his enemy.

Despite this, blood was flowing, and Reckless was losing that calm demeanor of his. Grasping his weapon with both hands from its long handle, he raised it into the air.

"They didn't say for nothing: no matter how much you train the animal, in the end, it will sink its teeth into you!"

The mace was coming down slowly. The Leader of the Nameless Ten got up and swung his sword; the two weapons were about to meet in the air, but taking a step forward, Reckless changed the target of the mace's head. The sword hit the metal handle, the mace didn't stop. The orc warrior was face to face with the violence of the weapon whose shadow fell upon him.

In a second, maybe two, the mace would flatten his head, despite this, the Leader of the Nameless Ten didn't lose his cool, and bending his wrist inward, he swung his torso to the right. A tiny movement caused the mace to fall half a meter to the left. The orc warrior, dodging to the right, managed to free his weapon from under the enemy's weapon with this move.

Those watching the battle from the top of the walls breathed a sigh of relief; the trap Reckless set had been thwarted by the warrior on their side. Even if his punches and weapon were neutralized, he changed the situation using his mouth, and with his skill at the last moment, he made it clear why the Orc Military Academy sent him here.

Just as there were spectators on the Balsici Castle side, there were also those watching the struggle at the Golden Leaf Merchant Guild encampment. Even if some had to use binoculars for this, frontline commander Nikolay of the army saw perfectly clearly what was happening.

"Who are these orcs, they can easily hold their ground against the General's three slaves!"

Nikolay had an appearance that made itself known immediately among other tall and well-built men, but with the voice reaching his ear, he shrank like a balloon losing all the air it held inside.

"Who are the orcs that can stand against my slaves, whom I've carefully molded for years?"

The words slipping through the tulles of the palanquin carried by four naked men and mixing into the crowd had managed to reach the frontline commander, but all the soldiers present in the places it passed had fled at least twenty paces back.

"General Alina!"

When the commander, bowing down until his long hair touched the ground, raised his head, he could see the place where the naked men's sexual organs were supposed to be, but unfortunately, there was nothing there anymore. They had received their payment for the shifts that started early in the day in General Alina's bed by being castrated.

"Ma'am, the latest situation..."

Frontline Commander Nikolay wanted to speak, but a voice from behind the tulles didn't give him the opportunity to do so.

"No need to explain, I prefer to see it with my own eyes!"

Then, following the path opening before it, the palanquin passed Nikolay and settled in the best spot viewing the battlefield. The front part of the tulles opened; General Alina was watching the scenes of her slaves fighting three orcs from the comfort of the large pillow she leaned her back against.

The woman, who looked quite happy inside her nightgown that failed to cover any part of her body properly, frowned as time progressed. Ten minutes had passed since she left her tent and came all the way here, and the battle was trapped in a vicious circle where neither side could establish dominance over the other.

Despite this, she didn't intervene; she waited another ten minutes, but when she realized this wasn't going to end, that was when everyone in the northwesternmost part of the continent, including those inside the Balsici Castle, heard what she said.

"Arrogant, Reckless, Savage! How much longer do you plan to smear my name?"

The trio, who had been fighting for almost half an hour, jumped dozens of paces back, turned toward the palanquin General Alina was in, and bowed their heads. They were paying their respects to her, but this wasn't what the woman walking on the peaks of sex appeal wanted.

"You have another ten minutes! If you can't finish your job by then, I will kill whoever crosses my path, and you won't be deprived of this either!"

General Alina, whose existence was known but who herself wasn't seen throughout the siege lasting for months, not only came to the frontline now but also declared she would descend to the battlefield ten minutes later. Her three slaves began to tremble; it was obvious they knew her wrath, and their eyes shone in defiance of the dark night. When they turned their backs and started walking towards the three orcs, they weren't the men who had been fighting just a moment ago.
