Neither the army behind him, nor the four men with their penises cut off, nor Pehlivan, who aroused the woman with his appearance, were aware of this, but his opponent dancing with death would stop for a moment and look to where General Alina was.
"What's wrong, did you miss your owner, you wild dog?"
Pehlivan, of course, wouldn't miss this opening; he spoke while trying to thrust his sword into his ribcage, but unfortunately, his opponent had escaped by crossing his iron claws in front of his body and was tossed only five paces back.
"Don't you dare take my master's name into your dirty mouth!"
Savage lunged forward from where he waited crouching; after launching into the air as if he had springs in his legs, his target was Pehlivan's handsome face, upon which a huge smile had settled. His enemy might have been fast, his claws might have come from weird angles to cut him, but no one could wound Pehlivan with such an obvious attack.
He neutralized the claws by swinging his sword from bottom to top in a half-moon shape, and planted his second kick onto the enemy's flank. This time it wasn't as superficial as the previous one; Savage, gaining momentum by spinning, had managed to dissipate the damage from the first blow, but the second kick was strong enough to break a few of his ribs.
"The one you call master is that woman fiddling with her privates, right? Hey, gorgeous, let me get this guy out of the way and I'll come to you, wait for me!"
Unlike the introverted Alyon, his power animal Pehlivan was an extroverted entity, and based on his opponent's attitudes, he had managed to figure out General Alina's interest in him. The young woman desired him, she made this obvious in every way, but why had Savage gone crazy in the face of this situation?
"How dare you? I will eat your flesh raw, I will shatter your bones to pieces!"
Savage was attacking in a way befitting his name; he had extended his two claws forward, he was screaming like crazy, and while his body was tossed left and right, it was impossible to see exactly where he was. Despite this, the moment he was about to land the blow on the enemy, the metal sword got in front of him, and this time it didn't just block, but sliced through the head of his left shoulder.
"What's wrong, or do you love your master? Poor thing, I promise I won't rough her up too much, I'll take her for a spin and bring her right back!"
The wound Savage received was not something to be underestimated, but before Pehlivan could even finish his words, the right claw licked past his lips. Right after, the left arm that wasn't supposed to move swung shapelessly, and the claw hit Pehlivan's stacked abdominal muscles.
"I didn't develop these abdominals for a cripple's swinging arm to tear apart, get out of my sight!"
The third kick tossed Savage twenty meters away from where he was. Pehlivan was right to boast; the opponent's last blow couldn't go beyond a shallow scratch. Like the minor injuries slowly taking over his body since the beginning of the battle, it couldn't go beyond adding sexiness to Pehlivan's sexiness.
From afar, from where the palanquin was, a moan came. With it coinciding exactly with the end of Pehlivan's words, those on the eastern walls of the Balsici Castle woke up to the situation too. General Alina was taking a special interest in him; it was quite impossible for them to gauge whether this situation was good or bad, but the one she referred to as her slave couldn't stay still despite the blood flowing in streams.
"I'm going to kill you, I'll tear your throat out and drink your blood!"
He lunged again; he didn't seem to be in his right mind while attacking for a while, and when the claws on his right arm broke, he couldn't understand what happened either. When his weapons were done for, he made a move with his bare hands; it was quite a brave move, but as a result, the wild creature's jaw on the hilt of Pehlivan's sword was currently touching his ribcage. The metal part of the sword had pierced through his body, and Pehlivan didn't intend to pull his weapon back right away.
"I don't know what they did to you to make you this way, but I won't pity a man who fell in love with his executioner either. As you take your last breath, I just wanted you to know that we will soon send the woman you fell in love with after you!"
Following what he whispered in his ear, a smile unseen up until that moment appeared on Savage's face; his lips thinned, his teeth, some broken, some missing, showed, and while his eyes looked in the direction where General Alina was, he took his last breath on the World of the Six Civilizations.
Along with him, the young woman took rapid breaths too, and when Savage, whom she called her captive, slid off Pehlivan's sword and fell to the ground, she let out a series of screams, shouting 'ah' loud enough for everyone to hear. Even if they understood what happened, not a peep came from the Golden Leaf Guild army; all comments were being made on the walls of the Balsici Castle.
"Dimitri, what kind of a psychopath is this? Her two men died one after another, look at the things the woman is going after!"
Even if Alyon had previously received information about General Alina's unstable nature, choosing the weirdest possible place to satisfy herself, after seeing it with his own eyes, he felt the need to double-check.
"General Alina is a maniac of a kind perhaps you have never seen before. She trapped us here to prolong the suffering she caused my family, and this is the first time I'm seeing her step out of her tent since that day."
Bookworm's single eyebrow rose; General Alina, who had secluded herself all this time to satisfy her pleasures, appearing outside right next to the battlefield boded no good at all.
"Great Chief Alyon, aren't you considering calling back your power animal? It's obvious the General has her eyes on him, and whoever this woman lays her hands on has never recovered again."
When the golden-haired Sasha looked at the event from a different angle, Alyon, who was supposed to be in a worried state, burst into laughter. This change on the walls where tension reigned had caught the attention of all the Balsici Family soldiers, but only those in his immediate vicinity were learning the reason for this action.
"I don't know about the others, but if Pehlivan gets his hands on her, we will all see together who will never recover again!"
Orc Chief Alyon's trust in his power animal was complete, and how could it not be? If he could represent the same values as him in terms of certain physical features, General Alina was truly going to have a hard time. For this reason, Pehlivan thrust his sword into the ground just like Hammerstriker, and going behind it, he sat cross-legged, his eyes on Reckless and the orc warrior whose battles hadn't ended yet.
Things on that front were more complicated compared to the other two fronts. The orc who was the Leader of the Nameless Ten neither had a power animal to take control in his place, nor an opponent whose weakness he could figure out and drive to uncontrolled actions. Reckless was attacking with his raw strength and heavy weapon, and the orc warrior was trying to respond without even being able to use Blood Techniques to avoid revealing his identity.
He wasn't being crushed against raw strength; as an orc, falling into a defeated position in terms of power against a human wouldn't befitting a warrior of his caliber. His weapon wasn't inferior to the massive mace either, and most importantly, his will, which had gone through the disciplined training of the Orc Military Academy, wasn't shaken despite all of Reckless's provocations. Minutes were chasing minutes, and there were a little over a hundred breaths left before the deadline General Alina gave expired.
Even if he attacked constantly, Reckless kept one eye on his master. As someone who had experienced her wrath most closely, he knew what would happen when the time was up, and this knowledge made him bolder while attacking.
General Alina showing herself had been a tremendous driving force on her three captives in the first moments; they had managed to drive their opponents into a dead end in a short time, but as time progressed, the situation turned against them.
Arrogant had died by causing Hammerstriker to use his power animal, albeit unintentionally, and Savage as a result of his enemy discovering the biggest flaw of his soul. The only survivor, Reckless, hadn't yet shared the same fate with them, but the sword entering his body from the opening he gave after the huge swings he made told him that he too had come to the end of the road.
