"So everyone is still asleep?" Charles asked with a small frown.
"Yeah." Gabriel said with a small nod.
"That is a shame. I wonder when they will wake up." Charles said.
"But let's hope that they will wake up but stronger people like Niuhi are up." Gabriel said.
"Great, I have to deal with two of them." Charles rubbed his temples.
"Two of what?" Gabriel asked.
"Predatory females." Charles muttered under his breath. As Gabriel tilted his head not hearing what Charles said. Charles said, letting out a sigh.
"What did you say?" Gabriel asked.
"Nothing at all." Charles said with a small frown. As a smile covered his face.
"Okay but do you want to spare some time?" Gabriel asked with a smile.
"In a little bit I have to ask someone for a favor." Charles said with a smile.
"Okay meet you up there." Gabriel said with a smile. As he started walking up the ledge. As Charles entered the cave seeing Rein how was humming.
"May I ask you for a favor?" Charles asked with a small smile as he sat down.
"What is it?" Rein asked her yellow eyes looking at Charles like she was trying to bore holes in his head. As Charles looked back.
"May I ask you to turn the corpse into a uniform. Please." Charles said with his head bowed. She nods slowly as Charles turns his back.
"It will be awhile since I sowed something for someone else." Rein said as Charles and Rein shared a moment. As Charles walks to where Gabriel is waiting.
"I swear these spares keep me sane." Gabriel said with a smile growing on his lips. Charles matched his smile. As they charge at each other.
"Starlight: Ability Boost." Charles said as he glows with starlight. Ducting under the sword slash form Gabriel. Punching Gabriel in the stomach launching him back. Gabriel landed on his feet.
"Reinforcement level 3." Gabriel said as his pitch black Chaos energy covered him like armor taking on a semi well defined state.
"Looks like you've gotten better." Charles spoke with pride. A bloodthirsty smile covered his face and I jumped into the air. Starting to circle the battlefield.
"Massive Chaos Slash." Gabriel said as a wave bigger than any other was rushing at Charles.
"Starlight: Ability Boost." Charles said he glowed a bright white as the two energies collided into each other. The two energies exploded. Snow covered the land like a blanket as it slowly settled.
"You okay!" Gabriel charged. As we see Charles is heavily burned with one of his arms being torn off.
"Starlight: Greater Heal." Charles spoke as if his arm spouted from the wound first the bone followed by the muscle. Quickly after the skin and the fingernails. As he slowly sits up.
"You okay?" Gabriel asked beside Charles he smiled at this.
"I'm fine." Charles said. Charles grabs Gabriel's hand and gets back up. Charles dusted himself off.
"Looks like I won." Gabriel said with a huge smile on his face. I land on Charles's shoulder
"Yeah I am going on a small training trip for Noble Phantasm." Charles said, waving while walking into a forest. As he jumps down the cliff. Charles landing on snow.
"Okay I will watch from above." I said as I flapped above him. A decent amount above him.
"Noble Phantasm." Charles said as a translucent blob formed in front of him. He closed his eyes in focus. It slowly circled him slowly by the half way point he made a second blob of translucent Chaos Energy. It too also started to circle him. As the first one past his front for the first time. I had a small smile grace my lips.
"You're doing great!" I called down as he looked up at me with a smile.
"Thank you." Charles said with a smile. But after a few seconds they blew up in his face. It was a powerful explosion much stronger than before. Covering the whole clearing as a laugh bursted out from the snow fog.
"Charles, are you okay!" I yelled down at him. But the laugh continued.
"Sorry I was laughing because I forgot that if I lose control they explode." Charles answered. As the snow settles, let me see him. I let out a sigh of relief.
"Idiot." I muttered under my breath but I was shocked it lasted for longer than the normal.
"What did you say? I can't hear you right now. My ears are still ringing!" Charles yelled up at me. This made me snort in amusement.
"I know you're going to try again." I said, "What makes him attractive?" I questioned myself about that loveable idiot.
"Noble Phantasm." Charles said as an orb of clear Chaos Energy it was much more like a sphere than before. Unlike the two blobs before it is an orb.
"Of course he is trying again." I said with a small smile. Shaking my head playfully. As it was half way behind Charles.
"Noble Phantasm." Charles said as another orb of transparent Chaos Energy form as it started to move like the first one.
"I wonder how Sebastian is doing." I asked myself as the first one crossed Charles for the first one. The second one is now about two thirds of the way around.
"Noble Phantasm." Charles said as the third orb started to form but then all of them blew up in his face. Once again the snow settled.
"You okay?" I asked him. Charles was smiling. Looking up at me.
"Yeah I am fine." Charles said back to me. As he stands up.
"Okay then let's call it quits for today." I said with a small smile nuzzling into his cheek.
"Is this going to be how you say hi to me after training?" Charles asked, looking me in my eyes.
"Maybe." I said with a small smile on my lips.
"Maybe I could get you to evolve." Charles said with a small questioning look as he looked up in the air.
"Feed me the blood of vampires." I said no thinking about it as I saw his lips shrink and his smile grow. Let's head to sleep.
