The sun morning rays. Casted a light golden glow. Someone was sitting over Charles' bed. He had golden hair. "Who are you?" Charles asked.
"Goetia Ars Gault." He said with a kind friendly smile sitting his hand out to shake. Charles slowly shakes it. Something just felt off.
"Charles Starling Pendulum." Charles said.
"Wow you're the second Pendulum I have met, you have seen Charlotte Pendulum right? Is she your younger sister?" Goetia said. Charles' face was frozen in one emotion, pure shock.
"Charles." I said nudging the side of his face he does not react.
"You alright, you look like a fish out of water." Goetia seemed concerned at this.
"Yeah I had some past interactions with her but I can't say that we are related." Charles said. Looks like he had finished processing the information.
"Okay then have a happy day I was just dying to meet you Charles." Goetia said with a joyous smile on his face. He left the door shut with a soft click.
"Charles, we need to get going." Pluto said. Bowing to us as Charles gets back up. Stretching for a little bit. As he was about to walk outside in a hospital gown.
"Do you have clothes?" Charles asked. Pluto put out a Hypersuit. Charles changed swiftly and walked out the door, Pluto following us a few steps behind. We got to the training ground.
"Welcome to torture I mean training." Seris said with a smile. The four people shivered. Everyone got ready for a fight. Charles shot Bala at Seris. He dodged. Appearing in front of Charles. He used a Jackal blade to block the sheathed katana.
"Burner Finger 3: Lance." Leo howled as he stabbed his three fingers towards Seris. Seris dodged back.
"Demon Flame: Thorn Prison." Shadow said. Silvery blue flames that took the flames of thorns. Chained themselves to Seris. Charles shot Bala at the thorns and they exploded in silvery blue flames. Seris walks out of the explosion unharmed.
"Charles, you don't need to hold back. Release Charlotte." Seris said.
"No, I think I am good." Charles said. Seris appeared once again in front of Charles. He slammed the katana into his neck. Slamming Charles into the wall. Seris sighed.
"Demon Flame: Demon Arrow." Shadow said as an arrow made of silvery blue flames launched at Seris. Thump! Thump! Where was this sound coming from? The arrow seemed to be warped and seemed to turn into smaller pieces. It went to Charles' body. Charles opened showing Stella Deus. The Six pointed star in his eyes seemed to gleam with power.
"Who are you?" Seris asked.
"We are almost insulted that you have forgotten us." Charles' voice sounds much like those voices I heard in my dreams. Charles' starlight that surrounds him was pure white.
"Oh great, I had a feeling that made sense." Seris said with a sigh leaving his lip. "Which one of you is in the driver seat now?" Seris questioned.
"Lust." Charles answered. Still layered with so many voices.
"Why?" Seris rubbed his temples with his free hand.
"Why what?" Charles' voice clearly ticked off.
"Out of Seven Devil Kings of Sin, why did it have to be you?" Seris said.
"You act as if I'm weak?" Lust question.
"No Lust, you're just weird." Seris said as the Starlight faded. Charles' blue eyes were shown.
"What happened?" Charles asked, holding his head. Before smiling.
"You're in training." Seris said as he rammed the sheathe of the katana into his stomach.
"Burner Finger 4!" Leo howls as a wave of flames launched at Seris. But Seris dodged it and slammed into Charles.
"Watch it." Charles snarls.
"Sorry." Leo said as Seris appeared in front of him. Kicking his gut and he doubled over in pain. Liquid spilling from his mouth.
"My partner." Charles said as he was putting on the crystal ring. Starlight exploded from Charles' body. Charlotte was hugging his back leaning on his shoulder. My shoulder was my spot.
"Finally you're taking this fight seriously." Seris said. Pointing his sheathed katana.
"Supreme Starlight: Heaven Arrow." Charles and Charlotte said. As a massive arrow slammed near Seris then it exploded. Filling the room with a brilliant light. Then covered in a massive cloud of dust covering the whole room.
"Why? Did you do that?" Pluto said, coughing off a storm. As the dust slowly settled we saw Seris as both Leo and Shadow were embedded into the wall. Both of them were covered in bruises.
"Thank you for giving me a chance to do this." Seris said, throwing his thumb behind him. Pointing to Shadow and Leo.
"Supeme Starlight: Twister." Charles said as a twister much bigger than any other and it glowed pure white. Seris drew his katana with a single swing and cut the twister. Blood rushed from the wound that appeared on Charles' chest. The wound closed.
"Now you made me draw my sword." Seris said with such a blood thristy smile. As he suddenly appears behind Charles. Countless cuts littered his body. Blood rushed out of his body as if it was escaping from the prison of flesh.
"Surpeme Starlight-" Charles and Charlotte started before they could finish. Seris smashed the back of the hilt of the sword, sending Charles slamming into the wall. Charles seemed to be fully healed.
"Sorry." Charlotte said. As she began to fade.
"Looks like you're durable." Seris said with happiness. As the massive armor of Starlight started to fade. Seris sheathed his katana. Charles took off his ring. And put it back on his necklace.
"Starlight: Twister!" Charles howled. As a twister shot out at Seris. Seris lifted his katana above his head. Like lightning, the katana swung down and the Twister disappeared.
"What in the world?" Charles asked.
"You do the best you can. You're getting better everyday no matter what. Never give up." Seris said with a gentle smile on his face. As he knocks Charles out with a single swing of his katana.
"What was that for?" I questioned as he gestured for me to shut up. Pluto was also out cold.
"Starlight: heal." Seris said as all of their wounds heal. He wipes the dust off his hands. As he let out a roar. Walking all four of them. They seemed to jump in their skin. "Okay you lot better get to class 127." Seris said. We got there and knocked on the door.
"You four are late! May I ask why?" The teacher asked. Charles nodded.
"Training with Seris." Charles said.
"Okay I am sorry for my outburst. If you need to skip class then please tell me the next day." The teacher said, taking a small bow.
"Why are you so calm with them? You snapped at Charlotte when she was a minute." A student asked. The teacher sighed.
"Steel. Seris is called a brutal teacher known for beating his Students half to death. It would not shock me if they had a few broken bones. That is why he black listed from teaching regular classes." The teacher explained the teacher was right. As the four take some open seats. The teacher threw one small card made of metal like a small phone. Charles clicked on it.

"You're sleeping on the couch." Mrs Freya muttered. No one else heard it.
"Hello I'm Mr Freya! Follow me." Mr Freya said. Then we were told to line up. Goetia Ars Gault stood in front of us with a smile.
"I will take this one." Goetia said as Charles nodded. We follow behind him.
