Angel was in her 6th grade of middle school, which was her freshman year in middle school. That was when she met Elena.
At first, both of them fought countless times. They didn't get along at all until they were eventually made seat partners. From there, they became friends.
Elena was the nosy type. She didn't mind her business and often got involved in things that didn't concern her, which sometimes led to trouble. Angel didn't like that attitude, but she didn't say anything about it because she felt it wasn't her responsibility to correct her.
The first term passed. Then COVID came. Schools were shut down, and students had to stay at home.
After about six months, schools resumed, and the students moved to a new grade, which was Grade 7.
When they returned, Elena came with news. She was transferring to another school. Everyone in the class was shocked, including the teachers.
About five days later, Elena stopped coming to school because she had already left.
Time passed.
When it was time for Angel to start her freshman year in high school, she decided to change schools. She did a lot of research before choosing the school she wanted. Eventually, she picked the same school Elena had transferred to, not remembering that Elena was there.
On her first day, she saw Elena again.
But things were different. They were not as close as they used to be.
That was when Sarah and Anna came into Angel's life.
During freshman year in high school, Sarah and Anna were not close at all. In fact, they didn't like each other that much at that time.
Sarah had a friend named Mimi, while Anna had a best friend named Tiana.
Everyone knew how Sarah and Mimi were. They were the kind of people who only cared about themselves. They were very selfish and always wanted everything for themselves.
As for Anna and Tiana, they were friends who didn't really have any impact on each other's lives. They just liked doing things that were not important.
