Thor Odinson strode out. Although he no longer had his hammer, his pride as a god made it impossible for him to accept being treated as a burden.

"I am a god of Asgard, I can..."

"You have a more important mission, Thor." Homelander looked at Thor. "Midgard is one of the Nine Realms, right?"

"Yes." Thor nodded.

"Asgard has an obligation to protect Midgard, right?"

"Of course! That is Odin's oath!" Thor puffed out his chest.

"Very well."

Homelander walked over and patted Thor's broad shoulder firmly.

"If the seeds on Earth erupt, it will be very difficult for these mortals to resist alone. I need you to go to Asgard and bring reinforcements."

"Even if it's for Miss Foster." Homelander lowered his voice and leaned into Thor's ear. "You wouldn't want to see her entangled by tentacle monsters, would you?"

Thor's expression changed instantly. He imagined the scene, and his hair stood on end in fury.

"Never!!"

He pounded his chest, making loud "thump-thump" sounds.

"Rest assured, Homelander! I swear in the name of the son of odin! I will have Heimdall send the Destroyer! No one shall touch Jane!"

"Good brother." Homelander smiled with satisfaction.

He then looked at the others.

"Steve, you're in charge of ground command. Tony, technical support. Natasha, the intelligence network."

"The Seven, maintain order and reassure the public. If panic breaks out, you are the tranquilizers."

"This is the division of labor. Everyone performing their duties is the highest efficiency."

Although the others were reluctant, they knew this was the optimal solution.

"Alright..." Steve sighed and put away his shield. "You're the boss, we'll listen to you. But you have to promise to come back alive."

"I never break my word." Homelander smiled confidently.

Just as everyone accepted the arrangement and was about to disperse to perform their tasks.

"I'm going."

A cool female voice rang out.

Jessica Jones walked out from behind the crowd.

"Jessica."

Homelander rubbed his brow with a slight headache.

"Did you not understand what I just said?"

"I'm not deaf."

Jessica walked up to Homelander, tilted her head back, and looked him straight in the eye.

"But I must go."

"Give me a reason." Homelander crossed his arms. "If it's because you can't bear to be away from me, that reason is rejected."

"Ha! Who can't bear to be away from a bastard like you." Jessica rolled her eyes.

As she spoke, she took a step to the side.

"Swish!"

There was no fluctuation in the air, no sound.

Her figure vanished instantly, and the next second, she appeared behind Homelander.

"Look at me now."

Jessica's voice sounded in Homelander's ear.

Homelander whipped his head around, only to find that Jessica had vanished again, appearing in front of him this time.

She took out a disc and snapped it onto her chest.

"Hummm—"

A blue film of light instantly covered her entire body.

"This is Mr. Yondu's holographic spacesuit. It has a life support system and can withstand vacuum and high radiation."

"I did a test last night."

Jessica pointed to the sky outside the window.

"I wore this spacesuit and stared at the Moon for a while."

"Then,'shoom'."

"I was standing on a crater on the lunar surface."

The crowd was in an uproar.

Tony Stark's eyes widened. "Jumping directly from Earth to the Moon? Is... is that scientific!?"

"I dropped out of high school, don't talk to me about science, Stark." Jessica shrugged. "I only know that if I want to go, I go."

"As long as it's within my line of sight, I can go there."

She walked up to Homelander and poked his hard chest with her finger.

"On that Planet, I'm harder to catch than you are. Even if that Planet's monsters explode, I can flash to a safe distance in an instant."

"So, I don't need you to be distracted looking after me."

Homelander looked at Jessica.

He had to admit, this woman's growth speed had exceeded his expectations. This kind of free-willed spatial movement indeed gave her the means to protect herself.

"Even so, what can you do by going?" Homelander crossed his arms. "Help me tickle that Planet?"

"Or do you want to do it one more time in space...?"

"Screw you!" Jessica blushed and glared at him fiercely.

"I'm going for work."

Suddenly, the corner of Jessica's mouth quirked into a sly smile.

"I know you, Anthony. If you save the World and no one sees it, you'll feel worse than if you were dead."

Saying that, Jessica took out her phone and turned on the camera.

"And I can record every one of your handsome moments from any corner, any angle."

"Think about it, when you blow up that Planet and are bathed in the light of the explosion—that divine and majestic shot."

"That kind of footage, if it's not filmed and sent back to Earth for billions of fans to worship... Look at me and tell me, could you really sleep at night?"

Homelander's Adam's apple bobbed. He looked at Jessica, the light in his eyes flickering.

Who did this little girl learn this from! She actually dared to PUA him.

But he had to say, this reason... hit his weakness with extreme precision.

He had to admit, he was tempted.

This was simply a genius idea. If there were no audience, the hero's highlight moments would be meaningless.

Moreover, Jessica's ability was indeed enough for self-preservation. Bringing her along not only carried no risk but could also maximize the gains of this operation.

Homelander tried desperately to suppress the rising corners of his mouth, not wanting to seem so shallow.

"Nonsense!"

Homelander pulled a long face and scolded her with righteous indignation.

"I'm going to save the World! I'm going to risk my life! Do you think I'm going to Hollywood to film a blockbuster?"

"This is war! A struggle between life and death! Be serious!"

The surrounding heroes nodded one after another, showing looks of agreement.

Indeed, bringing a photographer along at a time like this was truly too bizarre.

"However..."

Homelander's tone suddenly shifted, no longer as firm as before.

"...Considering you were my first partner, and our coordination on the battlefield is indeed... very synchronized."

"Plus... we do indeed need to record the battle process to leave precious scientific research data for Earth."

"So..."

Homelander sighed, looking like he "couldn't do anything about her."

"I'll have to add just you."

"Yay!"

Jessica made a peace sign, a triumphant smile appearing on her face.

"That reason... is terrible," Tony couldn't help but complain. "Why not bring Skynet? Her body is made of Vibranium, she doesn't even need a spacesuit?"

"She has to stay behind." Homelander shook his head. "The network affairs on Earth can't do without her. And, she has a new job now—she's in charge of the global broadcast."

However, since he had decided to bring a "war correspondent," he had to do it right.

"I can take you, Jessica. But you can throw away that 2-megapixel piece of junk in your hand."

"Mr. Rocket." Homelander called out to the raccoon at the back of the crowd.

It was circling a Vought Security Special Forces member, looking him up and down, even reaching out a claw as if trying to gouge out his eyeballs.
