Chapter 475 - Chapter 475 Infinity Gauntlet

"My wounds... my wounds are all healed!"

"Oh my god! I feel filled with power!"

Eitri, who had been kneeling beside Brokk's body in grief, suddenly noticed that the fatal, gaping wound on Brokk's chest was rapidly closing under the nourishment of the rain of light.

His previously bloodless face gradually regained its natural color.

"Cough, cough..."

Suddenly, Brokk's chest heaved, and he coughed up a mouthful of stagnant blood before gasping for fresh air.

He slowly opened his eyes and looked at Eitri, who was staring blankly at his side.

"Brokk!" Eitri could no longer hold it together. He rushed over like a child and hugged his brother who had come back to life, laughing and crying at the same time.

"Brokk! You old bastard! You're not dead! You actually didn't die! Hahaha!"

Those dwarves who had thought they were goners stood up one by one.

Except for the 19 poor souls who were truly unlucky and had been beheaded directly by Corvus Glaive, all the other dwarves were reborn.

The dwarf race, which had been reduced to just over a hundred, saw their numbers surge to 281 after this sacred rain!

A miracle!

A true miracle!

All of Nidavellir was in an uproar.

Homelander withdrew his magic, and the rain of light gradually ceased. He slowly descended in front of Eitri.

Seeing this, Eitri did not hesitate to prostrate himself before Homelander, pressing his forehead heavily against the ground.

He shouted with all his might, his voice filled with fervor.

"I, Eitri, King of Nidavellir, hereby swear an oath! From this day forward, the people of Nidavellir swear eternal loyalty to the God of Mankind!"

Seeing this, the two hundred or so surrounding dwarves followed their king and knelt in unison before Homelander to swear their oath.

They rhythmically beat the floor with their fists, their voices unified and imposing, shouting as they struck.

"Loyalty! To the God of Mankind!"

"Loyalty! To the God of Mankind!"

[Notification! Gained special popularity value + 50,000! (From Eitri)]

[Precautions: The grade of the copied projection will be one tier lower than the original. Additionally, the number of projections that can be summoned is limited by the host's mental and energy caps.]

Holy crap! This is busted!

Listening to the system notifications, Homelander laughed heartily inside.

Not only did he earn 50,000 special popularity value and recruit the Universe's top mythical craftsmen, but he also unlocked a cheat skill like "Unlimited Blade Works."

Although there was a restriction on the grade, it didn't affect how heaven-defying this cheat was in the slightest.

Homelander suppressed his inner joy, maintaining the majesty of a god on the surface, and raised his hand to signal the dwarves to rise.

Meanwhile, Loki, standing to the side, stared at Homelander, who was surrounded by adoring crowds like the moon among stars, his molars grinding with jealousy.

"Why?! How does he deserve this?!"

The prestige and adoration he had plotted for a millennium to obtain had been snatched up by this Midgardian in just half a day!

Homelander seemed to sense something; his eyes rolled slightly, and he met Loki's gaze with a smirk.

Loki felt his scalp tingle, and his expression changed faster than flipping a book.

In an instant, he put on a brilliant, harmless smile, raised his hands, and led the applause with a light "clap, clap, clap."

"That was truly magnificent, Homelander! Asgard is proud of you!" Loki praised loudly.

Thor looked at his "dear brother" with a face full of gratification, looking exactly like an elder brother thinking, "My little brother has finally grown up."

After everyone stood up, Thor asked impatiently: "Eitri, why did the Black Order suddenly attack Nidavellir?"

A trace of fear and hatred flashed in Eitri's eyes.

"It was Thanos..."

"He descended upon Nidavellir suddenly with a massive army."

"He held the lives of all three hundred of my dwarf kin hostage, forcing me to replicate the Infinity Gauntlet that Odin once used to hold the six Infinity Stones."

Upon hearing "Infinity Gauntlet," Homelander raised an eyebrow. He pulled his own gauntlet out from his magic pocket and waved it in front of Eitri.

"Is this the one you are talking about?"

Eitri looked at the gauntlet with some surprise, especially the Infinity Stone embedded in it.

Thor, however, was not surprised at all, as he had killed Malekith with his own hands. It was perfectly normal for the Reality Stone to end up in the hands of Homelander. Moreover, given his "dear brother's" strength, the stone was very safe with him.

"No, not this one," Eitri shook his head.

"This gauntlet is a replica I made for King Odin years ago using scraps left over from forging. It was meant to be a collectible in Odin's vault."

Eitri spoke bluntly: "It can barely withstand the power of one or two Infinity Stones. If there were any more, the gauntlet would collapse due to energy overload."

"Then what about the real one?" Homelander asked.

"The real one was brought back by King Odin, and he had me melt it down," Eitri replied.

"Melted it down? Why?" Even Thor was puzzled now.

Eitri pondered for a moment before recounting the past of Odin.

"It was about 1,700 years ago. Back then, King Odin had great ambition. He was obsessed with conquest, attempting to bring the entire Universe under Asgard's rule."

"He envisioned collecting all six Infinity Stones to achieve his goal of ruling the Universe."

"Because of this, I forged the first Infinity Gauntlet for him."

Thor and Loki listened intently; these were secrets from before they were even born.

"Not long after the gauntlet was forged, King Odin encountered a powerful enemy."

"Who was it?" Thor asked.

Eitri shook his head: "I don't know... I am just a craftsman, Your Highness."

"I only know that... to confront that enemy, King Odin came to Nidavellir and had the Space Stone he had collected embedded into the Infinity Gauntlet."

"Afterwards, he wore the gauntlet and left Nidavellir."

"And then?" Thor continued to ask.

"Later, King Odin returned... but he was a changed man."

"He seemed to have suddenly understood the true meaning of peace and the significance of protection."

"He abandoned his ambition for further expansion, stopped his conquests of other galaxies, and began to focus on safeguarding the peace of the Nine Realms."

"Afterwards, he returned the Infinity Gauntlet to me. He had me melt it down to serve as material for forging the next generation of the King's divine weapon."

"The name of that divine weapon is... Stormbreaker."

"And have you finished forging this divine weapon of the King?"

Eitri shook his head: "Not yet. King Odin only had me finish casting the mold."

Homelander turned to look at Thor. Thor wanted to say something but hesitated, his face full of longing.

Homelander turned back and smiled slightly at Eitri.

"Since we're already here."

"Let's forge that battle-axe today."
