Chapter 132 - The Third Spouse's Resolve

The long night filled with magical pain finally changed. Hues of golden light from the east slowly pierced through the window cracks, signaling that morning had welcomed the arrival of a new day in the capital. The cool morning air enveloped every corner of their mansion.

However, a rather unique sight occurred in the room.

Even though the sun had begun to rise, Allen and Alrain were still fast asleep and unconscious, exhausted after their bodies were forced to adapt to their new mana capacities. However, Ordion, who had drunk the potion earliest before, had now opened his eyes. The red-haired teenager woke up with a body that felt much lighter and an extraordinarily large flow of energy running through every inch of his veins.

Ordion turned to the side. He smiled very cutely when he saw Arvin's peaceful face still sleeping soundly near him. Without hesitation, Ordion moved his face closer.

Mwah!

Ordion gave a long, affectionate kiss on his husband's cheek.

The soft touch was apparently enough to wake his husband from his sleep. Arvin slowly opened them, and the first thing he saw was Ordion's bright morning face.

"Good morning, My Dear." Ordion greeted with a slightly raspy yet very affectionate voice in Arvin's ears.

Arvin smiled, gathering his consciousness for a moment. "Good morning, Ordion." Arvin greeted back, just as affectionately to his third spouse. His hand reached out to gently stroke Ordion's cheek.

Ordion glanced toward Allen and Alrain who were still sleeping soundly like dead people. "Since the two of them don't seem like they'll be waking up anytime soon, let me cook breakfast for us today!" Ordion said enthusiastically. He slowly pulled back the blanket and stood up from the bed so as not to wake the others. "Where do you keep all the food ingredients?"

Arvin shifted into a half-sitting position, leaning his back against the headboard. "Everything is inside the magic bag I put in the kitchen." Arvin answered casually. "If you want to take out the ingredients you need, you just need to imagine all the ingredients you need coming out from in there, then focus your mana toward the bag. The ingredients will come out on their own."

Ordion nodded in understanding. "Okay, I understand how it works!" he said cheerfully while walking lightly toward the door. Before leaving, he looked back toward the bed. "While everyone is still asleep, go ahead and get ready to bathe, My Dear."

"Yes, Ordion." Arvin answered, then also pulled back the blanket and stood up from the bed. "I'm also looking forward to tasting your cooking this morning."

Hearing praise from his husband on his first morning as a married couple, Ordion turned fully. He smiled very widely, showing his neat rows of white teeth, radiating the charm of a teenager in love.

"Leave it to me, My Dear!" he said with full confidence and his chest slightly puffed with pride. "I guarantee I will definitely satisfy your tongue with my cooking this morning!"

Without wasting any more time, the red-haired teenager immediately stepped out, leaving the room, ready to carry out his duties on his first day as Arvin's third spouse.

As he walked through the mansion hallway on the second floor and down to the first floor, Ordion felt very lighthearted. While walking, his hands deftly opened every large window curtain he passed, letting the warm morning sunlight in to illuminate the interior of their home.

Ordion smiled happily. The morning light hitting his face felt like a blessing from the universe. Because right now, he was no longer an observer who loved Arvin from a distance. Right now, he was officially Arvin's, the person he admired and loved so much until the end of his age.

I never imagined that such a beautiful thing would actually happen in my life. Ordion thought full of happiness. While walking, he lifted his right hand, staring in wonder at the white contract symbol now permanently engraved on the back of his right hand. Proof that he was completely Arvin's forever.

During that dark era, I could only harbor and love Arvin in an agonizing silence. But now, in this current life, I can hug him and love him freely without anyone standing in the way!

His steps stopped for a moment near the kitchen. His memory returned to the conversation and support from Arvin's other two spouses.

I am so grateful to Alrain who asked and pleaded with Arvin to make me his third spouse. Same with Allen... he has a heart as wide as the ocean for being willing to share a husband with me. If it weren't for the magnanimity of the two of them, I wouldn't be able to stand here as Arvin's spouse like this.

Ordion took a long breath, inhaling the morning air deeply. His resolve hardened along with the very strong flow of mana currently filling his body.

I swear, I will always be by our husband's side and support his every step until my last breath! Ordion promised in his heart, his gaze sharpening. I will never let the series of tragic events from that era befall my husband in our current life! Yes! I must always support him from every side, even if I must be ready to risk my own life to protect him!

With a spirit burning like an unquenchable fire, Ordion continued his steps into the kitchen and began preparing the best breakfast for the man who had made him feel unparalleled happiness.

A short while later, in the spacious and tidy kitchen, Ordion appeared busy. The red-haired teenager had just prepared the utensils and started sautéing some basic spices.

He had already turned the food ingredients taken from the magic bag into several breakfast menus. The fragrant aroma of the freshly sautéed food slowly wafted out, filling the kitchen. While stirring the ingredients in the pan, Ordion hummed joyfully. Cheerful notes slipped from his lips because his heart was flooded with happiness over his marriage to Arvin yesterday.

In the middle of his pleasant busyness, the sound of footsteps drew near. Arvin approached him and called out.

"Ordion, this is your Elixir of Immortality!" Arvin said softly. His hand held out a small glass bottle filled with a swirling golden liquid.

The red-haired teenager immediately stopped his humming and turned around. Without a second thought and without the slightest hesitation, he took the potion given by his husband and drank it until nothing remained.

"My Dear, thank you for the elixir!" Ordion said softly with a sincere smile adorning his face, then returned the empty bottle to his husband.

"It has become a necessity for me so that we can always be together forever." Arvin replied softly almost without pause, returning his spouse's loving gaze. "In that case, I will take a bath first."

"Yes, My Dear!" Ordion replied enthusiastically, imagining they could spend time together there. "I will join you after I finish cooking!"

Arvin nodded slowly, then turned and walked toward the bathroom located not far from the kitchen. As for Ordion, he returned his focus to all the dishes in front of him and continued cooking breakfast for everyone.

While chopping vegetables, Ordion's thoughts drifted to his husband.

My husband is truly wonderful! Ordion praised in his heart, his feelings warming. Besides his handsome face, he is also very attentive and loves the three of us sincerely and fairly. None of us feel ignored.

Remembering how perfectly Arvin treated his spouses, a small sense of regret suddenly crept into his mind as he recalled his previous life. Ordion let out a long sigh.

If only I had known that my husband had such an attitude, in that era, I surely would have dared to tell him my feelings and stand by his side with Alrain on the battlefield, instead of becoming an enemy.

But not long after, he shook his head vigorously, brushing away those gloomy thoughts.

Ah... why am I thinking about that incident? Right now, he has become my husband! There is nothing left for me to regret in this world. Because now, my duty is to be the best spouse for my husband and support him forever!

Those words of determination and the absolute vow of loyalty within his heart made his feelings of love and devotion to his husband grow even greater. For him, there was no one in this world worthier of his support than Arvin and his husband's other two spouses. Absolute loyalty was a vital pillar in their domestic relationship.
