Silence once again took over the living room for a few moments.
Arvin looked deep into Ordion's eyes. "If you really want to tell the story," Arvin continued in a coaxing tone, his hand still gently stroking his third spouse's cheek, "just tell everything to Allen and Alrain when I am away taking care of other things. That way, the information from you will not be in vain, and the two of them can prepare themselves mentally and physically for all the bad possibilities that will happen in the future."
Hearing the solution offered by his husband, Ordion fully understood his husband's intentions and strategic mindset. Without the slightest hesitation, he nodded in agreement, followed by a wide smile that returned to adorn his cute face.
"Just as you say, My Dear, I will just tell it to the two of them!" Ordion decided without hesitation, feeling his role was still valued. "You really do have to move quickly from now on so that the horrific incident of that time won't happen again in this era. I don't want to see your handsome smile turn cold again."
Seeing that the misunderstanding problem had been resolved, Allen who had been listening all along suddenly spoke up.
"Don't forget, you also have to immediately learn cloning magic!" Allen suddenly chimed in with a demanding, spoiled tone. "I want you to be able to pamper all of us fairly! I also want to be hugged and sit on your lap like Ordion right now!"
"Allen is right, My Love!" Alrain chimed in not wanting to be left behind, agreeing with his husband's first spouse's words. "As your spouses, we will definitely always support all your strategic moves out there. But as our husband, you also have an obligation! You must be able to satisfy the biological needs and affection of the three of us fairly!"
Hearing the spoiled demands from his other two spouses, Arvin could only chuckle softly. He felt the burden on his mind slightly lift seeing their cute behavior.
"Come here, the two of you, and sit beside me." Arvin requested softly while stretching out one of his arms.
Without needing to be told twice, Allen and Alrain immediately moved closer. They then sat tightly on the left and right sides of their husband. Both of them immediately leaned their heads and hugged Arvin's body from the side very affectionately.
Ordion, who was still on his husband's lap all along, did not want to lose. He spontaneously wrapped both of his arms around his husband's neck, hugging him tightly and full of affection.
Surrounded by the warmth from the three people who loved him very much, Arvin fell silent for a moment. He looked at the faces of Allen, Alrain, and Ordion interchangeably.
"Allen, Alrain, Ordion?" Arvin called softly, his voice breaking the comfortable silence between the four of them.
The three youths looked up, staring at their husband's face simultaneously. "Yes, My Husband / My Love / My Dear?" they answered in unison.
"Do I really have to look for a fourth spouse out there?" asked Arvin, voicing the doubt that had just appeared in his mind. "Honestly... I already feel very satisfied just having the three of you as my spouses. All of you are very cute in my eyes! I don't think there is any need to add a fourth, fifth, and so on."
Hearing the sincere praise coming from their husband, the three youths currently hugging him could not hide the red flush on their respective faces. They felt very happy and privileged. However, even though his heart was blooming, Alrain remained adamant in his strategic stance.
"I don't care!" Alrain asserted, his tone sounding spoiled yet demanding. He continued to rest his head comfortably on his husband's sturdy shoulder. "You must find at least three more people out there whom you want to make your spouses! With our numbers increasing, we can all share tasks and help you take care of many things to lighten your future workload!"
That very logical and future-oriented reason was immediately agreed upon by the first spouse without needing to think twice.
"Alrain is right, My Husband!" Allen chimed in supportively. "You cannot bear everything alone. Having many strong and loyal spouses is the key to strengthening your territory's foundation."
Even though he initially felt a little surprised by the blunt plan to share their husband with even more people, Ordion ultimately nodded along and agreed so that his husband could soon find the next worthy spouse candidates.
Seeing Allen, Alrain, and Ordion unhesitatingly making the absolute decision for him to continue building a harem, Arvin let out a resigned sigh. He had no other choice left. Sooner or later, whether he wanted to or not, he had to start looking for the next spouse candidates to fulfill their request.
If the two people currently hugging me right now are the main romantic targets of the game's storyline, then from now on, I will just look for NPC characters to be my spouses. Arvin thought. His gamer soul, which was always thirsty and wanting to conquer new challenges, instantly churned within him. After all, this is the real world, no longer just a game limited by a system! I can freely determine who will be bound by a Life-and-Death contract with me without having to be fixated on the main characters.
Arvin's thoughts immediately darted to the schedule of the upcoming inter-kingdom academy tournament. If later when that tournament begins, I will definitely find a cute and loyal NPC for me there! he exclaimed again enthusiastically in his heart. But before that step begins, I must find and gather the ingredients to make the 'Elixir of Immortality' just in case. No one knows if in the future I might actually have more than six spouses.
After setting his new goal in his head, Arvin slightly straightened his sitting position.
"Allen, Alrain, Ordion?" Arvin called softly, looking at the three youths interchangeably.
"Yes, My Husband / My Love / My Dear?" answered Allen, Alrain, and Ordion in unison. They looked up, staring at the handsome face in their midst.
"May I go now to carry out my mission?"
Hearing the request for permission from their husband, Allen, Alrain, and Ordion looked at each other for a moment, then smiled in understanding. They realized that their relaxing time had to be paused for a while.
Mwah!
