Chapter 212 - The Sealed Ancient Tome: New Revelations

Inside the small hut illuminated by the soft glow of light magic, Arvin smirked widely. The silence of the night witnessed how wild thoughts began to flash fiercely in his mind after reading crucial information about how to unseal the 'Soul Seal Book'.

If I can master this magic perfectly, I can make them live eternally with me too without needing to consume the Elixir of Immortality. thought Arvin, his eyes sparkling full of calculation. Moreover, right now there are only two bottles of that potion left in my dimentional storage space.

His mind immediately formulated a future strategy for the people who had and would become his spouses.

It seems, besides binding Kylen's soul, I will also use this magic to bind Davin if in the end he is truly willing to be my eighth spouse. And as for the remaining two bottles of Elixir of Immortality... I will give one bottle to Dylan. He is one of the romantic targets whose loyalty no longer needs to be doubted once he is completely conquered.

Arvin's index finger tapped softly on the book cover on his lap as he thought about the last remaining bottle.

And the remaining one bottle, I will save and give it to one of the romantic targets who is currently undertaking education at the Victoriaz academy.

Thinking about all those grand plans, Arvin leaned his back against the dirt wall of the hut and let out a long sigh. He stared at the ceiling, not expecting the direction of his own destiny in this world.

Oh my... look at me now. Who would have thought I would instead become the harem king of many cute boys in this world!

However, behind that small complaint, there flashed a sense of extraordinary pride and satisfaction in himself as a transmigrator.

It seems, I have broken the record of all the fantasy stories I previously knew! If most men who transmigrated or reincarnated to another world would become the harem king of many beautiful women, then here I will become the harem king of many cute and strong-looking boys, something very impossible for me to do on Earth!

Arvin chuckled softly realizing the absurdity of his situation. However, right when that euphoria peaked, a flash of memory jolted his consciousness, bringing him back to a very urgent reality.

His smile faded.

Damn it! I almost forgot about an important thing! cursed Arvin in his heart, softly slapping his own forehead. I must immediately find the magic book about cloning so that later I can satisfy all my spouses in bed fairly! And more importantly than that, I must also destroy Dalvanel's crazy ambition before everything is too late! Do not let this momentary happiness and satisfaction make you complacent, Arvin!

With a face that turned serious again, the youth looked at all the ancient books he had finished reading with an empty and flat expression.

Out of all these crazy magic books that contain destructive and regenerative powers, I still haven't found a single clue about cloning magic. For some reason, the magic I desperately need for the survival of my household is instead the most difficult magic for me to find in this world.

The youth let out a long and heavy sigh, as if wanting to release all his pent-up feelings of disappointment.

After calming his mind, he diverted his attention back. He reached for the thick chain-sealed magic book and placed it right in front of him.

Once the book sealed with the chain was in his hands, a feeling of enthusiasm surged back inside him. He was very impatient to know and directly study the magic that was said to be the forbidden magic most feared by the elders in the past.

Without thinking twice and without the slightest hesitation, Arvin used very dense dark element magic, focusing it on the palm of his hand.

Thick black smoke came out of his hand, moving to wrap around the chain that had sealed the book. The darkness slowly swallowed the physical form of that ancient magic seal.

A soft hissing sound was heard as Arvin's dark magic eroded and destroyed its protective magic, before finally the iron chain shattered and disappeared without a trace into ashes.

Now, the ancient book was no longer sealed and completely ready to be read.

Arvin's heart began to beat fast. His hands trembled slightly due to overflowing enthusiasm, impatient to study the magic formulation that would later make the souls of the people he loved bound to him forever.

Slowly, his hand began to reach for the book cover, opening it carefully so as not to tear its fragile paper, and began reading the faded writing written on the first page.

Page by page he read carefully. Initially, he frowned slightly because from the first page up to dozens of pages later, the contents of the book did not directly discuss the soul sealing incantation. There were only writings about long historical records and experiments that occurred around 2600 years ago.

However, he kept reading page by page of the book.

Until finally, when he reached page 49, his eyes widened greatly, the movement of his hands stopped. A piece of secret information that he just found out for the first time was written very clearly on that page.

"In the past, we tried to conduct a series of experiments to make a new potion, something that exceeds the limits of ordinary humans. In the beginning we kept experiencing consecutive failures, until many volunteers died tragically due to poisoning from unstable mixtures of ingredients."

"When we almost despaired and intended to stop this project, coincidentally our basic theory about the potion found a bright spot. After going through hundreds of refinements, we succeeded!"

Arvin's eyes moved faster tracking line by line of the ancient handwriting.

"The combination of a high-tier healing potion and a mana recovery potion, if measured with a very balanced and accurate ratio, as well as unified in a high-tier focus level of alchemy magic, then a new potion will be created from the reaction of the two."

"And the new potion we named 'Elixir of Archmage', a potion that can permanently increase the power capacity within someone. Not only a person's magic power and mana capacity will become extraordinarily large, but someone's physical strength and body endurance will also drastically strengthen."

"But, this potion has a harsh side effect during the assimilation process. A moment after someone drinks the potion, he will immediately faint. Initially we thought the person had died due to heart failure like the previous subjects, but when we realized that the volunteer only fainted to adjust to his new power, we felt so happy to the point of crying over that success."

The last paragraph on that page was written with ink that looked a little faded, as if the writer was crying while writing it thousands of years ago.

"Even though we succeeded, we also had to be sad and bear a great sin because so many lives of the volunteers had died in the early stages. If it weren't for their sacrifices wanting to test the potion voluntarily despite knowing the risk is death, we researchers would never be able to achieve success like this!"

"We are very grateful to those who are great and big-hearted! They are all unnamed heroes who have given up their lives and sacrificed for the creation of power for the generations to come!"
