Arvin calmly directed his free hand right above the empty space on the bed.
Clatter!
In the blink of an eye, a pile of gold coins cascaded down like a small waterfall, piling and mounting up on the bed, reflecting a golden light that instantly dominated the bedroom.
Seeing the gleam of such an extraordinary amount of pure gold coins, a momentary silence seized the room. All of his spouses, except for Allen and Alrian, who merely offered faint smiles because they already knew of their husband's wealth, stood frozen in their tracks. They felt amazed, never expecting that their husband stored that much money inside his dimensional storage space.
"Here is 300,000 Golds. Use it to buy everything you need for your experiments, Arion." Arvin said in an incredibly casual tone, as if he had just pulled out worthless pebbles.
"T-Three hundred thousand Golds?!" Dylan, Victor, and Oliver exclaimed in unison. The three of them were beyond shocked after hearing the nominal amount of money their husband had just mentioned.
Seeing the exaggerated reactions from several youths in the room, Kaydan stared at the pile of gold in confusion. "Why are you all so shocked? Just how much is 300,000 Golds in this kingdom?"
"Just so you know, Kaydan!" Oliver replied, explaining just how fantastic the amount of money Arvin had given to Arion was. "The salary of the soldiers or servants working in the palace is around 6 to 20 Golds per 30 days. Depending on one's lifestyle, with 300,000 Golds, you could live comfortably for at least 200 to 700 years without working."
The logical explanation from the Astoria Kingdom's prince was like dropping a massive boulder right in the middle of the room. This time, it was Davin, Arion, Kaydan, and Calverd's turn to be shocked. Their eyes widened and their jaws dropped after hearing Oliver's explanation.
Among all of them, only Alvein showed absolutely no reaction after hearing that fantastic sum of money. As a Morpher, which was a magical entity, he didn't care about what humans needed to stay alive.
Even without consuming what humans ate, Alvein only required mana. As long as there was still mana in this world, he could continue to live just by absorbing the mana scattered in nature or from other people. To him, that pile of money was nothing more than a heap of useless objects.
Meanwhile, on the other side, Arion, who was about to be given the money, instantly became reluctant to accept it. His hands trembled slightly.
"I cannot accept that much money, My Star!" Arion refused in an uneasy tone.
Arvin looked at the reddish-yellow-haired youth calmly. "Just take the money! The prices for alchemy magic materials are usually expensive, especially if the ingredients you need end up in an auction."
The logical reasoning coming from his husband's mouth left Arion with no other choice. Even though his heart was still overwhelmed by an immense sense of reluctance, he still accepted the fantastically valued money.
"Thank you very much, My Star." Arion said sincerely, his pair of pale light purple eyes slightly teary.
"As a husband, it is my duty to support and fulfill what my spouses need."
The sentence Arvin had just spoken sounded ordinary, a mere affirmation of his responsibility. However, to Arion, that sentence was something that made the feelings of love, happiness, and gratitude surge even stronger within him.
He felt grateful and incredibly happy to have someone like Arvin as his husband. There was nothing more joyful than receiving the full support of the precious person in his life.
Unable to hold back the overwhelming surge of love within him any longer, Arion stepped forward, threw himself at his husband, and immediately hugged the body of the person he loved so dearly with all his might.
Arvin didn't stay still when his body was hugged tightly. He immediately returned his spouse's hug, delivering an equally tight embrace in return.
Inside the bedroom, the two of them released their warmth by hugging each other.
Within the warmth of that embrace, Arion's desire to immediately marry Arvin officially grew uncontrollably large. His current status, living under the same roof as a spouse yet without the white contract symbol on his hand, left him feeling unsatisfied and unfulfilled.
"My Star?" he called out while still hugging his husband incredibly tight.
"Yes, Arion?"
"Could you bring Davin along with you when you leave later?"
It wasn't just Arvin who was surprised to hear the sudden request coming from the mouth of the reddish-yellow-haired youth. All the youths in the room felt the exact same way, especially Davin, who instantly blinked his eyes in confusion.
"Why do you want me to bring Davin with me?" Arvin asked, wanting to seek confirmation behind his spouse's desire.
"I want you to propose to Davin right away after you officially marry Dylan." Arion answered honestly, driven by the ambition to completely belong to Arvin as soon as possible. "I want to have the Life-and-Death Contract symbol engraved on the back of my right hand immediately. If things continue like this, I won't be able to give my best to make you happy."
After speaking his mind, Arion's hands squeezed tightly onto the fabric on his husband's back. The grip was so tight, as if he wanted to vent all his frustration over his current limitations as a spouse without a bond proving they were married.
"I beg of you, My Star." Arion whispered pleadingly.
The honest answer and the frustrated plea, heavily laden with the desire to solidify his position as an officially married spouse in the eyes of the gods, made Arvin freeze while hugging his ninth spouse.
Is Arion the only one feeling frustrated because he isn't bound by the Life-and-Death Contract with me yet? Arvin thought, questioning the situation.
However, upon feeling the hands gripping his clothes so fiercely, Arvin could vividly sense the sheer magnitude of the frustration Arion was experiencing, while also giving him a sense of déjà vu.
This is exactly like Allen, who felt frustrated in my arms. Back then, he gripped my academy uniform until he gritted his teeth because I only allowed him to hug me without crossing any boundaries. Now... Arion is also feeling a frustration just as immense as Allen's in the past.
Not wanting one of his spouses to become sad to the point of losing the sweet smile he always yearned for, Arvin immediately made the decision to bring Davin along with him to the Salverin territory.
While still hugging Arion's body tightly, Arvin turned his head, looking straight at his brownish-white-haired spouse in the corner of the room.
"Davin, are you willing to come along with us?"
