- Yesügei — his father. A *ba'atur*, which is a war-title.
- Bekter — half-brother, and the eldest boy in the household. Sochigel's son.
- Khasar — full brother, eight years old at the abandonment.
- Belgütei — half-brother, Bekter's younger full brother. Handy.
- Sochigel — Yesügei's second wife, mother of Bekter and Belgütei.
