Chapter 208: The Fight
"Compared to CP0, CP9 really is far inferior!"
Jiang Qize's lips moved slightly, his voice sounding directly in CP9 leader's ears.
CP9 leader's expression was icy. His left leg whipped out like a steel lash, the air trembling violently.
Bang!
Jiang Qize's hand moved in a flash, instantly gripping his leg as an enormous force erupted.
Rumble…
CP9 leader was flung away like a piece of trash, smashing hard into a building and leaving a human-shaped imprint behind.
"Tempest Kick · Crescent Moon Slash!"
"Finger Pistol · Rapid Fire!"
"Tempest Kick · Annihilation Slash!"
"Bean-Bean Bullets!"
The remaining four CP9 members launched their attacks at him.
One of them, a thin, cold-looking CP9 agent, produced a handful of black beans in his hand and fired them like bullets.
Whoosh whoosh whoosh…
Boom boom boom!!
At that moment, several transparent cannon shells shot out from behind Jiang Qize, colliding with those slashes and exploding instantly.
A powerful shockwave swept outward, whipping everyone's hair wildly.
"You're not qualified to make our captain take action. Let us deal with you."
War Demon Wyper stood on the Dragon Flame, hoisting a Dial Cannon on his shoulder. He bared a defiant grin as he looked down at them.
Buck and the others also slowly closed in.
"Tempest Kick · Ape King Slash!"
At that moment, a massive slash dozens of meters long roared out from the distance, with a silver-black figure following closely behind it at high speed.
Jonathan, I'll leave this to you. Don't kill them!"
A wicked smile curled at the corner of Jiang Qize's mouth. He then turned, grabbed Tom and Franky, vanished from the spot, and reappeared back on the ship.
"Understood, Captain!"
A deep voice responded.
A figure instantly appeared in front of the incoming slash.
Clang!!
A sharp sword flash streaked through the air.
Rumble rumble…
The Ape King Slash was split apart in an instant. The two severed slashes crashed down to either side, carving out enormous fissures as the ground shook and rubble flew.
Jonathan looked calmly at CP9 leader with his stern face.
He had already changed into a gray suit, wearing a purple shirt underneath, paired with casual slacks and leather shoes.
"You… you're a Marine?"
Seeing him, CP9 leader froze for a moment, vaguely recognizing the man before him.
"I used to be."
Jonathan replied flatly, without denying it.
"A so-called Marine of justice turning pirate—how ridiculous!"
CP9 leader sneered coldly. In the next instant, his body vanished.
"Whether it's justice or not is for me to decide."
As Jonathan finished speaking calmly, his figure disappeared as well.
Boom!
The two collided midair, a shockwave blasting outward.
Their figures immediately turned into blurs, clashing again and again as the surrounding ground was reduced to ruins in an instant.
From time to time, slashes flew out, cleaving through buildings and slicing them cleanly in half.
"Captain, are these World Government people… really this weak?"
On the Dragon Flame, Robin watched as the CP9 members were completely overwhelmed, her expression filled with confusion.
Having not experienced as much darkness as in her previous life, she did not harbor the same fear of the World Government. Seeing CP9 so weak left her puzzled.
"CP9 is a secret intelligence agency directly under the World Government. Their strength isn't that great. In the first half of the Grand Line, how strong could they really be?"
Jiang Qize replied with a smile.
"So that's how it is."
Robin nodded.
Then, watching the CP9 members, she crossed her hands in front of her chest.
"Four-Wheel Bloom · Bind!"
Her sweet voice rang out.
Instantly, pairs of slender, delicate hands sprouted from the bodies of the fighting CP9 agents, snapping shut and locking their arms and legs in place.
