In the next moment, the massive Azure Dragon within the clouds began circling at high speed. Tornadoes rapidly formed and descended from the sky, their force directed straight toward the sea below.
Sengoku saw the danger immediately and shouted, "All warships, avoid the tornadoes and head for land at full speed!"
At this stage, the sea tornadoes had not fully formed, but once they did, their destructive power would be enough to instantly tear apart Marine warships.
Gradually, the tornadoes touched down on the ocean's surface. The sea began to churn violently, forming massive whirlpools beneath them. Huge volumes of seawater were pulled upward into the sky, completing the formation of devastating sea tornadoes.
Warships caught too close fell into chaos. The Marines onboard had witnessed the terrifying process unfold right before their eyes.
"Is this the power of the strongest creature in land, sea, and air? Creating tornadoes out of nothing?"
"How are we supposed to fight something like this?"
"Move! If we get caught in those sea tornadoes, we're finished!"
Panic spread as every ship pushed forward at maximum speed.
At the same time, lightning began to flash across the sky. Thunder roared endlessly as heavy rain poured down.
"Where did this storm come from?"
"Is this Kaido's doing too?"
"What kind of ability is this?"
The Marines shouted in alarm as the battlefield turned into a natural disaster zone.
Sengoku clenched his teeth. "Can he really control the weather like this?"
Fujitora suddenly leaped into the air. Purple energy gathered around his blade as he roared, "Gravity Blade, Fierce Tiger!"
A sweeping slash cut through the air. Instantly, a powerful horizontal gravity wave tore through dozens of newly formed sea tornadoes, shattering them mid-formation while also disrupting the surrounding wind pressure.
Hidden behind the dark clouds, Kaido showed a hint of surprise. The power of the Gravity-Gravity Fruit was indeed formidable.
Still, the attack posed little real threat to him.
"Then try this. Thunder..."
The clouds above responded immediately. Lightning crashed down continuously, and the booming thunder shook the sea, striking fear into the Marines below.
Officers shouted over the chaos, "Faster! Row harder! Get to land immediately!"
"Yes, sir!"
Without hesitation, the Marines grabbed their oars and rowed with everything they had.
Sengoku raised his voice again. "All ships, head for shore now! Do not delay!"
"Kaido's Azure Dragon Devil Fruit allows him to control wind, fire, lightning, and clouds. Staying at sea puts us at a severe disadvantage."
At that moment, Sengoku, Zephyr, Fujitora, and Aramaki all launched themselves into the air. They needed to draw Kaido's attention. If he continued unleashing attacks on this scale, even three hundred warships would not survive.
Seeing four top-tier fighters approaching, Kaido did not take them lightly. He immediately shifted into his Human-Beast form, abandoning his massive dragon body which would be too easy a target.
A sharp clash rang out as attacks collided midair. Kaido grinned fiercely. "Worororo, Marines. Seeing so many ships out here makes me want to sink every last one of them."
Sengoku transformed into his golden Buddha form and roared, "I won't allow that!"
Surrounded by Sengoku, Zephyr, Aramaki, and Fujitora, even Kaido grew serious.
At that moment, King flew in and bowed slightly. "Kaido-san."
Kaido laughed. "Worororo, King, perfect timing."
Taking advantage of the distraction, Momousagi shouted, "All Marines capable of using the Six Powers, follow me and seize the shore!"
She immediately used Moonwalk, sprinting through the air toward the island.
The Marines watching her were filled with admiration.
"Vice Admiral Momousagi is incredible!"
"That's Admiral candidate Momousagi!"
On the defending side, tension rose.
"She's not someone we can handle easily. Only the All-Stars can stop her."
"Hold the line. As long as the warships stay away from shore, the Marines can't land."
Another round of artillery fire erupted from New Onigashima's defenses, but it was not enough.
Meanwhile, aboard the warships, Pacifista units were deployed.
This time, the Marines had brought one hundred Pacifistas for the campaign against the Beasts Pirates. Despite Vegapunk betraying the World Government, his earlier contributions remained invaluable. The Pacifistas were among his greatest creations, each possessing tremendous combat power despite their high cost.
Commanding them was Rear Admiral Kujaku, granddaughter of Tsuru.
Looking at PX-1 standing in place of a former Warlord, Kujaku clicked her tongue. "If Bartholomew Kuma were still here, he could send all the Pacifistas onto the island instantly."
Kuma, once one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, had long since been turned into PX-0, stripped of his consciousness.
Before losing himself completely, he had issued one final command, to protect the Straw Hat Pirates' ship until their return.
Neither the World Government nor the Marines could override that order. Anyone who approached him would be attacked, regardless of status. According to Vegapunk, it was an unchangeable directive.
As a result, PX-1 had taken Kuma's former position.
Back on the battlefield, Momousagi led a wave of Vice Admirals and Rear Admirals in a direct assault. Their overwhelming strength quickly destabilized the defensive line.
With a powerful sword strike, Momousagi shattered incoming cannon fire midair, clearing the path ahead.
Moments later, the first wave of Marines landed on New Onigashima, tearing open a breach in the defenses.
The Beasts Pirates' expressions darkened.
"They've made landfall!"
Jack stepped forward and roared, "Men, with me! Engage the Marines!"
