"Your favors…!"
Jate's expression remained still, but Siya's words struck somewhere deeper than she intended.
"I will only try to repay the favors you have done for me. Don't expect too much from me."
The words pierced Jate's heart.
You could have simply refused to speak to me, Siya… I would have accepted that. But you called my duty, my concern, and everything I did for you a favor. What mistake did I make that made you push me this far away?
Jate looked at her.
"The favors are yours, Siya. I am still trying to repay what you did for me. You entered my life and chose me. You trusted me. Those were favors you gave me."
Siya's expression hardened.
"That wasn't a favor. That was a person's duty and responsibility, Jate."
Jate immediately interrupted.
"Then what I did should also be called duty, responsibility, and concern, shouldn't it, Siya?"
Siya answered in a grave voice.
"You're wrong, Jate. You saved my life. You repeatedly put yourself in danger to save me. You even risked your life to save Ali. What you did cannot simply be called a duty. It is a debt I owe you."
"A debt?" Jate asked quietly.
"A debt is only a debt, Siya, when I help you as a stranger."
Siya's next words were colder.
"No. I wouldn't call it a debt if you had truly been George…"
She paused.
"…and not Jate."
The words landed harder than any weapon could have.
Jate's heart seemed to fracture beneath them.
His eyes grew wet.
With a trembling voice, he asked, "What am I supposed to understand from that, Siya? Are you punishing me for a mistake I never even knew I had made?"
Siya looked at him seriously.
"Jate, you have placed too many expectations on this relationship. We were together once. But now, to me, you are a stranger—one this world needs."
Her voice remained steady.
"You were not the one who created that terror around Maan back then. But somewhere, you were still connected to the consequences. So stop thinking about anything else. Think about how you can become useful to this world."
She took a breath.
"And Jate…"
Her voice softened, but the pain behind it did not.
"The Jate I once loved no longer exists."
Silence filled the room.
"My love still exists somewhere in this infinite universe. It still shines as energy. But it no longer shines inside my heart."
She placed a hand against her chest.
"This heart, this mind, this body, my strength and my intellect… everything now belongs to the duty entrusted to me by the Supreme Being."
Jate said nothing.
"If you understand everything," Siya continued, "then it is time for us to return."
She looked directly into his eyes.
"Your energy is going to enter a new body. Consider it your rebirth."
Jate slowly sat before her.
"Sit in front of me, Jate."
He obeyed.
"Close your eyes."
Jate closed them.
"Remember the Supreme Knower, the Most Compassionate One—the force that governs this universe. Awaken the eight chakras within you. Remember the Father of Creation."
Siya's voice became calm and rhythmic.
"And chant Om."
Jate remained still.
"Do not open your eyes until I tell you to."
Siya closed her own eyes.
Then she placed her thumb against Jate's forehead.
A subtle vibration passed through his body.
She began regulating his energy.
The sound of Om resonated through the chamber.
Golden energy began awakening within their bodies.
At first, it was faint.
Then it grew brighter.
The golden radiance spread outward, filling the room.
Slowly, Siya and Jate seemed to dissolve into that luminous energy.
Outside, Ashwatthama, Maharishi Kripacharya, Ali, Andy, Hanuman, and Trikala stood before the newly prepared body.
They watched the golden energy emerging from it.
Siya's body was glowing with the same golden radiance.
The vibration of Om spread through the entire chamber.
Then—
A brilliant surge of light erupted.
For a moment, everything disappeared beneath the radiance.
And then…
The light began to fade.
Siya opened her eyes.
She was awake.
She turned toward Jate's body.
"Wake up, Jate."
Her voice echoed softly.
"Open your eyes."
For several seconds, nothing happened.
Then Jate's eyelids slowly moved.
Everyone watched silently.
Jate opened his eyes.
He looked around.
For the first time in what felt like an eternity, he could feel himself.
He could breathe.
His heart was beating.
He was alive.
He looked down at his hands.
Then around the room.
He was truly alive again.
Ali and Andy could no longer contain themselves.
They rushed toward him and embraced him.
"Jate!"
"It's so good to see you again after all this time!"
Their voices carried genuine happiness.
How could they have stopped themselves?
Jate had been a precious part of their lives.
They remembered the golden moments they had once shared with him.
Ashwatthama looked toward Trikala and gave him a faint smile.
It was almost as though he were silently telling him—
Things may change very soon.
Trikala, however, was looking only at Siya.
He wanted to go to her.
He wanted to ask whether she was all right.
Jate slowly stood.
At the same time, Siya tried to rise.
But her body seemed unusually weak.
Trikala immediately stepped forward.
Before he could reach her, Jate moved first.
He supported Siya.
"Are you all right, Siya? You look weak."
Siya gently removed his hand.
"I'm fine."
She then looked toward Ali and gestured.
Ali immediately understood.
He stepped forward and supported Siya as she walked toward the room.
Once inside, Siya spoke quietly.
"Close the door, Ali."
Ali shut it.
"Come here."
He moved closer.
"There's something strange happening," Siya said.
She lowered herself onto the bed.
"I think my body is becoming weaker."
Ali's expression changed.
"I don't understand how my supernatural energy is decreasing," Siya continued. "But it is happening continuously. The more energy I lose, the weaker I become."
She looked toward the closed door.
"I don't understand what is going to knock on my door next."
Ali carefully helped her lie down.
"If that is happening, Boss, then we need to take it seriously."
He examined her condition.
"I'll find out what's happening to you. You rest for now. Try to sleep."
Siya closed her eyes briefly.
"Maybe it happened because I have been thinking too much… and putting too much pressure on my mental energy."
She took a slow breath.
"It's fine, Ali. Leave it for now."
Ali hesitated.
"Boss…"
Siya looked at him.
"Jate has returned."
A shadow of concern crossed Siya's face.
"I know."
Then, after a moment, she admitted quietly:
"I'm worried, Ali."
Ali remained silent.
"I'm afraid my old wounds will surface again."
His expression softened.
"Of course we're worried, Boss."
He sat beside her.
"We didn't just watch you go through that pain. We were there with you. We became part of that pain."
His voice was firm.
"If you want, we can keep him away from you."
Ali looked directly at her.
"We won't let anything happen this time that causes you even a little pain."
Siya gave him a faint smile.
"Nothing like that will happen, Ali."
She paused.
"He needs to help us now."
Her expression became serious again.
"Maharishi has summoned him. That means he must have an important role to play in this conflict."
Outside the room, the world was moving toward its final confrontation.
And somewhere within that growing storm…
Jate had returned.
But the question remained—
Would his return heal Siya's past…
or awaken the wounds she had spent years trying to bury?
