Chapter 193 - Chapter 193: Havoc Rover, POWER!

Blood poured out from the wounds all over Leviathan's body as if it cost nothing.

Every drop that fell turned into the most turbid and frenzied Black Tide, raining down like droplets onto Rinascita below.

"Damn you! Don't you want to protect these weaklings? Then I'll make sure to utterly destroy them!"

Leviathan flew through the air. The pain wracking its body caused occasional spasms, yet a mad smile spread across its face.

It lightly sliced open its own skin with its fingers, allowing an even greater volume of Black Tide to surge from its wounds.

"Kill you all! Kill you all!"

"I'll make that guy pay the price!"

"Control! Integrate! Evolve! All as one!"

Leviathan opened its mouth and chanted. Evil, defiled energy surged wildly:

"Heaven that patrols the skies, your god uses blood as the guide—command you to descend—"

"Celestial Court Radiance!"

Leviathan suddenly felt a chill at its back. It halted its casting and hurriedly dropped lower in the air. A beam of white light capable of destroying heaven and earth narrowly brushed past its body.

Leviathan looked back in lingering fear, only to see churning clouds part as a majestic azure dragon soared toward it.

Its dragon whiskers flowed like waterfalls, its claws sharp as hooks, its speed incomparably fast.

With just one glance, its mind reeled in shock:

"Jinzhou Sentinel?"

"Wrong again!"

Noah's legs clamped tightly around the phantom dragon body of the Sentinel. The dragon horn on his forehead shone with piercing light.

Condensing the Sentinel's phantom to a rideable state consumed an enormous amount of resonance energy every second, but the effect was outstanding—he had caught up to Leviathan.

Taking advantage of the moment Leviathan fled and disengaged, he switched his team, adding Jinhsi to the lineup.

[Team: Jinhsi, Cantarella, Rover (Havoc).]

His hands formed seals at blinding speed as he shouted:

"Respond—Wish for Peace!"

Dazzling golden lightning carrying the force of ten thousand jun crashed down from the firmament. Brilliant thunderlight instantly exploded across Leviathan's body, its radiance so intense it even overshadowed the sunrise at the end of night.

Leviathan let out a massive wail of agony. Its wounds turned charred black, and even more Black Tide gushed out.

Seeing this, Noah immediately activated the power of chronology, freezing in time all the falling Black Tide. In the next instant, he switched characters to Cantarella.

As control over the chronological power ended, the gravity of the black tidal water was once again easily altered by spatial authority, transforming back into clear water that flowed upward into the sky.

A cyan barrier centered on Noah expanded like an inflating balloon with lightning speed, instantly sealing off the entire area of this inverted tower.

"Surrender, Leviathan. You have nowhere to run!"

"Damn it! Damn it! Damn it!"

Leviathan crashed heavily onto a floating island, roaring in furious rage. The chilling sword blade condensed from black tides was once again firmly grasped in its hand:

"You actually dare to chase me—do you really think victory is assured?!"

It reached out and summoned all the opal crystals that had previously attacked it, drawing them in. Mixed with black waves, they formed dark crystal armor that covered its body.

"With my Fusion authority, everything you hurl at me will become my power."

If you shoot at the sea, will the sea die? No. The sea will simply absorb the bullet's kinetic energy and make it its own.

"I've completely found the way to counter you!"

While absorbing the residual resonance power in the opal crystals to heal its injuries, Leviathan snarled viciously:

"As long as I throw objects in advance to deflect your bullets, they won't be controlled by that bizarre ability of yours."

"Who told you I only use guns?"

Noah sneered coldly and switched from Cantarella back to Rover.

Since Leviathan's Fusion authority passively absorbed energy-based attacks, he would switch to Rover, who could similarly annihilate energy.

Havoc Rover—POWER!

He drew Ages of Harvest and Time of Harvest with a reverse grip, his right hand brushing along the long blade, quickly coating it with a layer of Havoc energy.

A zero-chain Havoc main definitely couldn't match Leviathan, so—character switch.

Derivative Jinhsi—POWER!

...

The sun had only just risen not long ago, yet nearly half the people of Rinascita were already awake.

Whether members of the Order of the Deep in Ragunna City, residents of Whisperwind Haven, or troupe members from Penitent's End, all had come out into open areas, looking up at the thick mass of clouds high in the sky.

The cloud mass churned like boiling water, forming a stark contrast with the calm clouds around it. Muffled thunder-like booms faintly echoed, as if a heavenly god were beating war drums atop the clouds.

"What's happening in the sky?"

"It looks like someone is fighting above the clouds."

"How could there possibly be Resonators strong enough to battle in the sky? I've lived eighty years and never seen anyone like that."

"It must be the Sentinel! The Sentinel has manifested!"

The people of Ragunna City were bewildered, curious, and worried, making all sorts of guesses as they strained their eyes to see more clearly.

Order of the Deep.

"My lord, the astronomical telescope has arrived."

"Good."

Fenrico had some suspicions in his heart. His hands trembled uncontrollably, nearly unable to hold the telescope steady.

After taking several deep breaths, he finally raised the telescope and clearly saw the churning cloud mass.

Behind the massive clouds, various colors flashed in interaction. From time to time, black energy slashed out like overwhelming waves, carving distinct sword marks into the cloud mass.

Lowering the telescope, Fenrico turned to the priest beside him:

"Did you find the location of the Righteous One as I asked?"

"My lord, according to the last signal from the central beacon, the Righteous One went to the old site of the academy, then the signal position rose higher and higher until it completely disappeared."

"Good."

At this moment, Fenrico's suspicion had turned into certainty. He instructed:

"The whereabouts of the Righteous One are the highest secret of the Order. It must not be leaked."

"Yes!"

After receiving the reply, Fenrico raised the telescope again, watching the changes in the clouds while silently praying devoutly in his heart.

Sentinel bless us—please win!

Montelli Quarter.

"Tall Chestnut has been at the Fisalia family for a full day and night. He doesn't answer calls or reply to messages."

Carlotta paced anxiously back and forth in the room. Nearby, Ciaccona, wearing pajamas, stood by the bed holding a telescope and marveling:

"Sis, this Golden Captain telescope collectible from seventy years ago is pretty great. Even the clouds in the sky look super clear."

"At a time like this, you're still in the mood to look at clouds?"

Carlotta snatched the telescope away, her voice filled with worry:

"Do you think something happened to Tall Chestnut?"

She looked up at Ciaccona's eyes, but the corner of her vision was suddenly drawn to the shifting clouds.

Raising the telescope, she caught a glimpse of a familiar dragon shape through the ever-lowering cloud edges. Her expression changed dramatically:

"Oh no! Tall Chestnut was tricked into the sky by the Fisalia family!"

Whisperwind Haven.

Cantarella suddenly sneezed for no reason. She rubbed her sore neck, looked down at Cartethyia under the tree—the latter was still sleeping soundly.

Shaking her head helplessly, Cantarella picked up the nearby mapo tofu and roasted pigeon.

"I've already eaten three portions. Will this really help Noah...?"

She struggled to swallow the roasted pigeon in her mouth:

"I really... really can't eat any more."
