Chapter 417 - The Light of Judgment

The debut of the Tenseigan's power immediately struck fear into the hearts of the Konoha forces. Uzumaki Tomoko's intelligence profile had always been treated with the highest priority by Konoha.

An Uzumaki child possessing both the Byakugan and the Shikotsumyaku was already the most conspicuous existence within Sunagakure.

Now, the third eye on her forehead seemingly heralded an even more transcendent status.

Silver Wheel Reincarnation Explosion!

A silver tornado violently expanded from Uzumaki Tomoko's hands, surging directly toward Uchiha Itachi. In the blink of an eye, Itachi rapidly wove hand seals.

A massive earthen wall rose from the ground to intercept the silver tempest, while Itachi simultaneously used the Body Flicker technique to materialize directly behind her.

"Careful!"

Uzumaki Tomoki appeared completely out of nowhere, the condensed energy shield on his arm rapidly intercepting the lethal strike aimed at Tomoko.

Although Uzumaki Tomoko wielded terrifying ocular prowess, she was still slightly inferior when facing a combat veteran as seasoned as Uchiha Itachi.

Uzumaki Tomoki, however, was a different breed entirely. As the primary combat powerhouse of the Naval Department and Shiraishi's direct disciple, his battlefield experience was incomparably rich.

Even so, facing a member of the Uchiha clan for the first time, Tomoki did not dare to be the slightest bit careless.

Extreme Speed!

Compared to the combination of the Dimensional Hole and Teleportation that Shiraishi practiced, Extreme Speed was a diluted version. However, its true advantage lay in its sheer simplicity and its seamless integration with Tomoki's other abilities.

For instance... Mega Punch!

In a fraction of a second, an overwhelming surge of luminous energy coalesced around Tomoki's fist as he launched a fiercely explosive punch straight at Itachi.

Confronting the strongest current combatant of Sunagakure's Jonin Corps for the first time, Uchiha Itachi's entire body dissolved into a murder of crows, vanishing right before Tomoki's eyes.

As a peerless master of illusions, Itachi decided to employ his signature Genjutsu against Tomoki—a combat style the Uzumaki was purportedly ill-equipped to counter.

Genjutsu?

Within the pitch-black, illusory world, the instant Tomoki and Itachi locked eyes, a peculiar, dark radiance spread from Tomoki's pupils, generating a bizarre fluctuation of energy.

Secret Technique: Dark Transfer

This was a combination technique derived from Shiraishi's Mean Look and Psycho Shift skill cards. Although Uzumaki Tomoki possessed a high natural immunity to Genjutsu, he knew he would inevitably be at a disadvantage against a Uchiha.

While Mean Look lacked any direct offensive capability, it flawlessly assisted Tomoki in locking onto the exact position of the Genjutsu caster, ensuring he would never lose his bearings at a critical moment.

Meanwhile, Psycho Shift directly rebounded negative emotional states and psychological influences back onto the caster.

Normally, even if an ordinary person were trained to combine these two techniques, they would be utterly incapable of reflecting a Genjutsu of Itachi's caliber. However, relying on his sheer innate talent, Tomoki posed a genuine threat to the Uchiha genius.

Following the activation of Dark Transfer, Itachi discovered that his opponent's Genjutsu resistance had elevated by several tiers. Furthermore, his successive attempts to exert spiritual pressure had been intercepted and rebounded back onto his own psyche through some esoteric method.

Years ago, after the Fourth Hokage's funeral, when Tomoki clashed with members of the Root department, he had utilized a highly specialized form of chakra materialization.

It was a unique jutsu that allowed the user to condense an energy shield on their arm, drastically mitigating physical damage.

Conversely, this Reflect shield could also be weaponized to launch powerful kinetic shockwaves at the enemy.

Although the foundational theory described in the skill card was remarkably simple, there was a glaring prerequisite: the materialization of pure energy required a shinobi with an obscenely massive chakra reserve.

Therefore, this technique was absolutely tailor-made for an Uzumaki.

When mentoring Tomoki, Shiraishi hadn't selected overly convoluted methods. Instead, he sifted through his own skill cards, choosing Reflect and several other Psychic-type abilities to form the core of Tomoki's offensive and defensive arsenal.

Other techniques like Mean Look, Mega Punch, and Mega Kick had all been developed to synergize flawlessly with Tomoki's personal combat rhythm. Naturally, the absolute core of Tomoki's combat system remained his Telekinesis.

To this day, Tomoki tirelessly honed his Telekinesis daily. When combined with the Shadow Clone training method, his progression rate yielded twice the result with half the effort.

Possessing explosive acceleration, Tomoki utilized Extreme Speed to flank Itachi. His energy shield underwent another phase of chakra materialization; under the manipulation of his telekinesis, it coalesced into a razor-sharp spiritual blade that slashed forward.

The blade forged from the heart—Psycho Cut!

While not nearly as cataclysmic as the Golden Wheel Reincarnation Explosion, Tomoki's Psycho Cut carried a unique 'power of the heart' that made Itachi find the engagement increasingly thorny.

The seemingly straightforward physical assaults were laced with an array of esoteric layers that Itachi could neither fully comprehend nor completely see through.

With Tomoki effectively pinning down Uchiha Itachi, the remaining Konoha shinobi on the field were hopelessly outmatched against Uzumaki Tomoko, Aoki Shigeru, and the rest.

Especially when faced with Gaara's Sand Burial and Tomoko's Shikotsumyaku—in an instant, a dense forest of macabre white bones erupted as the desert swallowed the earth, leaving countless corpses collapsing into pools of blood.

Sunagakure's Maritime Base...

Both Necrozma's detached consciousness and its true body had fallen sequentially into Shiraishi's meticulously calculated snare. The dazzling pillars of light transformed into an absolute cage, fully restricting and binding the entity.

"Thou dare to scheme against me?"

"Weren't you just preparing to backstab me with a blade?"

Shiraishi couldn't be bothered to entertain this ancient, slow-witted aberration. This specially customized Hunter puppet was, by design, an intricate coffin.

Necrozma transferring its own consciousness into it to seize control of the Tenseigan had seemed like a flawless plan on paper—unfortunately, it had treated Shiraishi like a fool.

Since when did the world ever offer such free charity? Not only gifting him absolute power but also transmitting all its knowledge to him as well?

It was glaringly obvious that this Primordial Beast, Necrozma, wanted to use Shiraishi to pry open the temporal-spatial barrier and devour the power of the four golden cards to repair its severely damaged physical vessel. That was the sole reason it had orchestrated this entire farce.

As for the colossal beam cannon on the lunar surface, it ostensibly appeared to be a preparation for the Shinobi World War.

In reality, it was a gigantic light-source sealing matrix devised by Shiraishi, containing an interlocking array of 1,600 Four Symbols Seals, specifically constructed to permanently banish Necrozma into the realm of absolute darkness.

Necrozma's power was undeniably terrifying, but only under the prerequisite that all sixteen of its brain cores were restored and it attacked in its complete form.

Since Shiraishi had already viewed the memories of the First Mirror's master, why would he ever give it that opportunity?

"But human, thou hast miscalculated one crucial detail. My power is fundamentally incompatible with this world. Although thou art exceedingly clever to utilize the light-source Four Symbols Seal, unfortunately..."

Before Necrozma could finish its arrogant declaration, the most majestic of the four golden cards hovering within the spatial rift suddenly activated.

A chaotic beam of absolute judgment—a light never before witnessed in this world—illuminated the armor of the Hunter puppet.

With a thunderous detonation, Necrozma's split consciousness residing within the external world was instantaneously and utterly annihilated.

What overbearing power...

According to Shiraishi's prior calculations, sealing Necrozma should have only required locking down the light source. But looking at it now, without that sudden Light of Judgment, completely sealing the beast away would have been exceedingly difficult.

Since the great deity residing within the card was willing to lend a helping hand, Shiraishi seamlessly continued his hand seals to initiate the sealing array. The radiance emanating from the Hunter puppet dimmed little by little.

Simultaneously, on the far side of the moon where Necrozma's true body lay hidden, that identical Light of Judgment miraculously descended once more.

Witnessing the manifestation of this adjudicating light and seeing Necrozma thoroughly suppressed, Otsutsuki Ryushi completely lost any desire to continue the fight and promptly evacuated the premises.

The Light of Judgment, synchronized flawlessly with the Four Symbols Seals of Shiraishi's Thousand-Faced Crimson Imperial Mirrors, finally accomplished the ultimate mission that the original master of the mirror world had failed to achieve.
