The chairman of Divine Academy, Dominik, was an extremely smart man, so Leon knew for a fact that he wouldn't just let the teachers fight by themselves.
This was too much of a risk for someone who calculated everything the way Dominik did.
He probably sent Monika, the teacher that Emilia killed, to assess their strength and see how easily they could defeat her, treating her like a test rather than an actual fighter.
And since he saw that she got one-shotted by Emilia's attack, he was now much more careful in what he was doing.
That single exchange had told him more about their group than any amount of planning ever could.
Basically… there was no way in hell this wasn't a trap.
"Do we fight?" Violet mumbled as she stared at the teachers, "I can freeze the entire chamber over if you want."
"No," Leon shook his head, "Dominik is either watching, or he's ready to intervene at any moment, we have to be careful about him."
