"Drop anchor and halt the ship!"
Thinking this, the Empress called out in a clear, commanding voice. "You all stay here. I shall go alone."
With the massive, circular chasm blocking the way, no vessel could approach any closer.
The gap stretched nearly a hundred meters wide — far too vast for ordinary people to cross.
"Lady Empress..."
"Elder Sister..."
The female pirates cried out in alarm, but Boa Hancock did not stop. With a light leap, she soared gracefully into the air and flew toward the island.
The moment she set foot on land, Gilgamesh, the King of Heroes, abruptly opened his eyes.
"Hmm?"
He let out a soft sound of surprise. "This girl really is persistent... she's come again."
Curious, Vladimir instantly activated his ability. "The Star That Knows All, Sees All!"
He entered her presence and movements into his calculation, while also factoring in the complex situation on the archipelago, as well as the existence of the Sea Dragon and Emperor Vladimir.
Moments later, a strange expression appeared on his face.
"I seem to have quite a destiny with her. In almost every future I see... she falls in love with me..."
In every possible timeline, the Empress eventually developed feelings for the Sea Dragon — or more accurately, for Emperor Vladimir himself.
This was the result of his ability's calculation, though Vladimir wasn't entirely convinced it was reliable.
"Empress... she dares use the title of Emperor? The only reason I haven't dealt with her yet is that I have no interest in picking fights with women. And now she actually comes looking for me on her own?"
He shook his head slowly, then stood up. With a mere thought, his true form — Emperor Vladimir — materialized beside him.
In the next instant, Emperor Vladimir vanished, speeding toward the direction the Empress had taken.
"My magical power has recovered to about half or so. Now then..."
Vladimir leaped lightly from the top of the Yarukiman Mangrove tree.
As he fell, a golden ring of light appeared beneath him, and the Golden Vimana Ark extended out to catch him.
SWOOSH!
It transformed into a streak of emerald light and rushed straight toward the battlefield.
...
At the boundary between District 2 and District 3, Sabaody Archipelago.
This open plaza had turned into total chaos. The Whitebeard Pirates were surrounded and attacked by more than a dozen different crews.
The fighting between both sides had reached its most intense, bloody stage.
On top of that, Ivankov's arrival had drawn everyone else into the fray, all fighting desperately to seize the blueprint in his possession.
This was no simple two-sided war, but a chaotic melee involving countless factions — where everyone was an enemy to everyone else.
Shouts of war filled the air, blades clashing and flashing everywhere. Every second, someone fell dead.
Suddenly, amidst the turmoil, a streak of emerald light approached rapidly and hovered right above the plaza.
Countless people looked up in shock.
The green light seemed to defy all laws of physics — moving from extreme speed to a complete halt in the blink of an eye.
"An airship? Is it the Delgado Clan?"
"No... their airships don't look like this! Who is it?"
"It's the King of Heroes!"
Someone recognized him, and their expression instantly turned grave.
Even Whitebeard himself, along with the five legendary survivors from the era of Gol D. Roger, paused in their battle to focus their attention on this new arrival.
"Hmm? What kind of ship is that?" The old man in the straw hat exclaimed in surprise.
"It defies the laws of nature... and who is the one aboard?"
"...Another strange and dangerous character," Whitebeard laughed heartily. "Gu la la la! It seems he is not here to reinforce you lot!"
"Hmph! Nor is he here to help you!" The old man in the straw hat sneered back.
"Whitebeard, your time has passed. Compared to your prime, you've grown weak — you can't even defeat the five of us anymore!"
Aboard the Golden Vimana Ark, Vladimir sat calmly upon his throne. He rested his cheek lazily against one hand, legs crossed, watching the chaotic battle below.
The plaza was the main battlefield, with tens of thousands fighting. And beyond it, the flames of war spread endlessly across the whole island.
Glancing around, he spotted Ivankov still fleeing desperately, as well as Doflamingo, hiding in the crowd and dodging fights whenever possible.
Everywhere he looked were names that had shaken the world.
Shaking his head, Vladimir turned his gaze toward Whitebeard. The ship slowly drifted closer, hovering directly above him.
"Who are you?" Demon Granny asked, her posture tense and wary.
"That is exactly what I want to ask you," Vladimir replied, too lazy to even stand up.
"Just who are you five old monsters? I recognize you, Demon Granny. But I am quite curious about the other four old men."
"Kid, you sound incredibly arrogant!" The old man in the straw hat snorted.
"I was sailing the New World long before you were even conceived!"
"Hahaha..."
Vladimir chuckled softly and snapped his fingers.
Instantly, countless golden rings of light appeared all around the airship.
"This is... scatter and take cover!" Demon Granny shouted in alarm.
The five legendary figures reacted instantly, splitting apart and leaping away in different directions.
At the same moment, a storm of attacks rained down upon them — BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
The bombardment lasted for nearly half a minute. When it finally stopped, the ground below was left shattered and riddled with craters.
Cold sweat dripped down the straw-hatted old man's face.
"Such density... there must have been dozens of swords striking every single second!"
If they hadn't dodged so quickly, their only hope of survival would have been relying on the strongest Armament Haki to endure the onslaught.
"Strange techniques..." Whitebeard gripped his massive naginata and looked up at Vladimir.
"Boy in the golden armor — who are you?"
"Boy in the golden armor?"
Vladimir raised an eyebrow, still sitting comfortably on his throne. "Whitebeard... I am Gilgamesh, the King of Heroes."
He paused briefly, then spoke again.
"You look like you are on your last legs and close to death. How about making a deal with me? Hand over fifty Devil Fruits, and I will help you get rid of these five old monsters."
