At the same moment, the blueprint slipped from the thief's hand and fluttered to the ground.
"The blueprint! It's mine!"
The Sea Giant reacted first. Being the closest, he kicked aside anyone in his way and bent down to grab it.
"Fufufufu… That blueprint is something we are here to reclaim."
Doflamingo let out a chilling laugh. He extended his right hand, fingers twitching slightly.
SWISH! SWISH! SWISH!
Several razor-sharp golden threads sliced through the air.
The Sea Giant's face contorted in shock. His body suddenly lurched downward, and his entire right leg was severed at the calf, flying off to the side.
"Impossible…!" He was utterly stunned. He hadn't been fully on guard, but he had covered himself in Armament Haki.
Yet this attack had cut right through his defense as if it were nothing.
"You bastard!"
Enraged, the giant didn't give up and still reached for the blueprint.
But that brief moment of hesitation gave everyone else time to react.
The colossal elephant, Jack, turned around and charged straight toward them.
His massive tusks shattered every obstacle in his path as he crashed violently into the giant's chest.
THUD!
Two long tusks pierced straight through the giant's abdomen, lifting him up and carrying him along for over a hundred meters.
Seizing the opportunity, Kaido laughed loudly and surged forward in a single powerful stride.
"I am the only one worthy of possessing this! Hahaha!"
Everything happened in the blink of an eye. Many didn't even understand the sequence of events.
From Vladimir locking onto Marko, to the Spear of Destiny striking him; from the Sea Giant crushing his way through to grab it, to Doflamingo slicing off his leg; followed by the elephant's charge and Kaido seizing the prize…
It all took barely five or six seconds. Yet when the dust settled, the blueprint was already firmly in Kaido's grasp.
"DROP IT!"
Whitebeard's thunderous roar rang out. He snatched his massive naginata from where it was embedded in the ground and swung it fiercely toward Kaido.
"Hmph! Whitebeard, you're a man already on his deathbed — why do you keep meddling?!"
Kaido sneered. Holding the blueprint in one hand, he punched back with the other.
High above, aboard the Golden Vimana Ark, Vladimir watched with deep satisfaction. He turned and strolled leisurely back to his throne, sitting down comfortably.
Crossing his legs, he waved his hand and summoned a goblet of fine wine from his treasury, calmly watching the great battle unfold below.
"Go on… keep fighting. The more chaotic, the better… Hahaha…"
BOOM!
Whitebeard's naginata slashed down, carrying immense vibration power that swept across the ground and drove straight toward Kaido.
Kaido merely grunted, refusing to back down, and met the strike with a punch of his own.
His fist surged with terrifying pressure, seemingly manifesting the shadow of a demon.
Upon colliding with the slash, a massive explosion erupted.
CRASH!!
A hurricane of force blasted outward, engulfing everything within hundreds of meters.
Many fighters nearby were caught in the shockwave. Their internal organs were instantly shattered, and they collapsed vomiting blood.
"Emperor-level combat… Run for your lives!"
Earlier, the Emperors and top-tier fighters had held back their true strength.
But now, the battle had reached its peak — no one was holding anything back anymore.
Whitebeard and Kaido exchanged blows, seemingly evenly matched for the moment.
But suddenly, Commander-in-Chief Kong struck again.
While Kaido was occupied facing Whitebeard, Kong closed in rapidly, his entire body radiating a metallic, steel-like aura.
"Kaido! Hand over the blueprint!"
Kong threw a punch filled with overwhelming momentum.
Kaido spun around instantly and counterattacked head-on.
BOOM!
Another explosion rocked the area — but this time, it was Kong who was forced backward.
After all, he was advanced in age, and his strength was no longer at its peak. Compared to an Emperor like Kaido, who was still in his prime, the gap was obvious.
"Hmph, old man… get lost!"
Kaido repelled Kong and immediately began to retreat.
Even he didn't dare to fight an army of enemies at once; the odds were impossible. He already struggled enough just against Whitebeard alone.
Seeing him take the blueprint and prepare to flee, the commanders of the Whitebeard Pirates erupted in fury.
The Third Division Commander rushed forward first. Sprinting at full speed, he transformed his arms — and then his whole body — into flawless diamond.
With absolute hardness, he smashed through everyone blocking his path.
"KAIDO!!"
He roared and gave chase.
"Hmph… seeking death!"
Jack the Drought sneered. He let out an elephantine bellow, swung his long trunk, and whipped it violently toward Diamond Jozu.
THWACK!
With a heavy thud, Jozu was forced to a halt.
That brief delay was all it took — Kaido was now retreating further and further away.
"If you manage to escape now, we're all in trouble."
