Chapter 190: It's Really Weird, Okay!

Sun Sperm felt as if his entire body had gone stiff; he couldn't move at all, and even rolling his eyes was a luxury.

What on earth is going on... Could this be some special skill of King's... Why does it feel like time itself has stopped...

As a God-Level Monster, Sun Sperm's level of existence had already far surpassed that of Earth's lifeforms. He could also sense the existence of time and space; although it was still difficult for him to utilize them perfectly, he had at least touched the threshold.

Because of this, he could clearly sense that time in this area seemed to have frozen.

If time was like a massive assembly of constantly turning gears, then time in this region was a jammed gear, completely unable to continue rotating.

Relying on his Advanced level of existence and concentrating all the energy in his body into his brain, Sun Sperm barely managed to maintain his train of thought.

But even so, his thinking had become extremely slow, as if a time-dilation effect had been applied to him.

Just then, a dissatisfied shout abruptly reached Sun Sperm's ears:

"What the heck! Why did the internet suddenly get so bad! It lagged at the crucial moment!"

In the middle of the Time Stasis Field, Saitama was completely unaffected. He slapped the LCD TV in dissatisfaction.

Looking at the frozen image on the TV—the exact moment the villain and the newly evolved protagonist were about to begin their final battle—it had actually stopped moving!

Are you kidding me?!

Veins popped on Saitama's forehead. This feeling of being cut off right at the climax made him very angry, especially since he had been so engrossed in it before it suddenly lagged.

Seeing this scene, Sun Sperm felt an incomparable shock in his heart.

Saitama can actually ignore the effects of time stop? Is this guy's level of existence really that much higher than mine?!

But on second thought, it made sense. After all, when Saitama defeated him, he had only casually thrown two punches and nearly beaten the crap out of him. Thinking about it that way, this was normal.

Outside Saitama's door, King had already seen everything happening inside through his Divine Sense and couldn't help but nod.

It seemed this [Time Stasis Field] wasn't actually that useful. At most, it had some utility in specific situations or for clearing out weaklings.

Against high-dimensional beings like Gods, the Time Stasis Field probably wouldn't be effective.

But it didn't matter; at least it counted as a usable tool.

While Saitama was frantically messing with the TV, his front door was suddenly opened.

King strode inside and immediately saw Saitama slapping the TV:

"Yo, Saitama. It looks like you've run into some trouble. Need my help?"

By now, Saitama was as anxious as a thundercloud. Seeing King arrive, he breathed a sigh of relief:

"King, come help me see what's wrong. My TV seems to have stopped. Is it the internet lagging?"

King pretended to look for a moment, then nodded with a certain tone:

"That's simple. Just leave it to me."

Then, King reached into his back pocket and lightly tapped the remote control.

The Time Stasis Field was retracted, and the TV was able to continue playing.

Saitama gave a word of thanks and quickly plopped down in front of the TV, preparing to seriously watch the final battle between the villain and the protagonist.

Having regained his freedom, Sun Sperm felt his whole body relax. Cold sweat instantly poured down, and his entire person trembled uncontrollably.

In the next second, the plate he was holding slipped due to his body's abnormal movements. With a loud crash, it hit the floor and shattered into ceramic shards.

Sun Sperm: "..."

Oh no!

Losing his composure like this in front of two big shots, Sun Sperm felt his situation was precarious; he might be slaughtered at any moment!

Sure enough, hearing the crisp sound of the plate breaking, Saitama poked his head over with a bewildered look. When he saw the shards on the floor, his expression immediately soured:

"Why are you so clumsy! Just stop washing the dishes. Leave the rest there; I'll wash them later. Go do something else!"

Thank you for your mercy, Lord Saitama!

Hearing Saitama forgive him, Sun Sperm almost cried.

God knows how panicked he was the moment the plate broke, fearing he'd be beaten into pulp in the next second.

"Yes, Lord Saitama. Please allow me to clean up these shards first so they don't dirty your floor!"

Hearing Sun Sperm's overly formal speech, Saitama sighed helplessly:

"I've told you so many times, don't talk so formally, okay? It's really weird!"
