In the blink of an eye, everyone who was leaving had left. Wang Meng and Old Mo departed as well. From within the crowd, a pair of venomous eyes stared fixedly at Wang Meng, but because of Mo Chen's presence, they could only watch from a distance.
Wang Meng held up a spit, roasting a wild boar. Paired with a pot of fine wine, it was absolute bliss.
"You're quite the content one, kid. Did you comprehend anything?" Mo Chen said.
"The Celestial Dao? Heaven probably isn't too fond of me. I didn't feel a thing."
Wang Meng sniffed the roasting boar leg. "Smells so good. I'm starving. Do all survivors of a calamity get this hungry?"
Mo Chen was speechless. "You really know how to look on the bright side, kid."
"Haha, still a ways to go before I can compare to you. Old Mo, let's have a drink."
