To them, experts of that caliber were supreme and untouchable.
They never imagined someone they knew would have contact with such a person, let alone become their direct disciple.
"After I went to the Great Qin, I thought Yan was at the Profound Celestial Sect. I joined the sect to look for him, but it turned out he wasn't there."
Chu Lingguang lamented.
"No, I'm a member of the Profound Celestial Sect too. My master is also a sect disciple, but he has lived for so long that everyone in the sect thought he had long since passed away and slowly forgot about him. I've actually been cultivating at the Profound Celestial Sect all this time. It's just that my master's immortal abode is quite special and hidden; not even the Sect Leader can find it."
Yan Zhen explained, shaking his head.
"What?"
Chu Lingguang had not expected this at all.
So, after all that, Yan Zhen was also a disciple of the Profound Celestial Sect and had been cultivating there the whole time.
