On Friday morning, just before eight, Yan Feifan arrived at the Plastic Surgery Center and happened to run into Director Wang Chuan in the parking lot.
"Feifan, I heard you rushed back to the center last night for an emergency surgery. Does today's operation need to be postponed?"
Yan Feifan shook his head. "There's no need to postpone it."
"It was just a minor operation last night, less than two hours. It barely affected my stamina and energy."
Wang Chuan noticed that Yan Feifan didn't look particularly tired, so he didn't press the issue. Instead, he asked curiously, "What kind of patient was it that made you come all the way back to the hospital last night?"
Yan Feifan explained, "A twenty-four-year-old man. Car accident. He didn't have any major injuries, but his face was hurt pretty badly."
"The tip of his nose was severed, and he had several lacerations on his face."
