Yan Feifan could do nothing about the punishment Li Songzhu and Zheng Libin received.
He could only repeatedly tell Zhang Yi that he was more than willing to offer his assistance to help the police solve the case.
Zhang Yi thanked Yan Feifan for his eagerness to help.
He also stated that if the need arose in the future, the police would request Yan Feifan's assistance through official channels and procedures.
To show their gratitude for Yan Feifan's immense help, Zhang Yi also gave him several thank-you gifts on behalf of the police department!
A high-end-looking coffee machine.
Two telescopic batons for self-defense, which he said could be kept in the office or car to handle unexpected situations.
There were also two military-grade shovels and two rechargeable, high-performance flashlights, supposedly for outdoor recreation and camping.
Yan Feifan accepted the gifts…
After seeing off Zhang Yi, Zheng Libin, and the others, Yan Feifan quickly took a shower to freshen up.
