Pei Yuhang listened to Shang Miaoyan's playful threat, his expression growing darker. Finally, unable to suppress his anger any longer, he slammed his fist into the wall beside him.

But Shang Miaoyan just chuckled. With a casual flick of her fingertip, a firefly-like radiance grazed the back of his hand, and the wound on Pei Yuhang's fist healed before his very eyes.

In the shadows cast by the draping bed curtains, Shang Miaoyan languidly stretched her body and shifted into a more comfortable position, leaning against the bed.

On that slender ankle, a Golden Ring chimed, like the tremor of a venomous snake before it strikes.
