Drool trickled from the corner of Xiaobai's mouth. She enviously extended a paw, wanting to touch it.
But she had barely reached halfway.

Qin Yang cracked open his eyes and glanced over at her.
Hearing him, Xiaobai retracted her mischievous paw. Her ears drooped, and the little fox's entire demeanor deflated on the spot.
