A Federation Councillor, drenched in sweat and his face a mask of terror, announced:
"It's not that a new sun has appeared in outer space... it's... it's..."
He paused, swallowed hard, and then continued in disbelief:
"According to the research institute's findings, the fundamental rules of the world have changed... The Western and Eastern Hemispheres are still opposite each other, but they are both facing the sun at the same time!"
"How is that possible?!" another Federation Councillor exclaimed during the emergency council meeting. "Two opposite sides of the Ancestor Star, the opposing Eastern and Western Hemispheres, are facing the sun simultaneously? Do you hear what you're saying?"
The council immediately erupted into a chaotic argument. This was too unbelievable; it defied common sense and all logic!
How could two sides of a sphere face the same direction at the same time?
