"Exactly." Ming Lin couldn't agree more. "Such petty tricks. Do they really think the Chief Judge wouldn't have anticipated this?"
"How so?" Su Chen's interest was piqued.
"This announcement won't be made public until this afternoon. My teacher told me, so don't tell anyone else." Ming Lin lowered his voice, using the secret to build a closer bond between them.
"The Chief Judge is going to implement a ranking system. Of the six Core Seeds, four are currently eligible to compete. Through a series of round-robin challenges, anyone who can defeat the other three will become number one, earning the title 'Chief Seed'."
