It was a chaotic melee between humans and Demons, and the air was thick with the stench of blood.
A Peak Second Rank Lion Spirit roared again and again, its Demon Power boiling. It forcefully swallowed a Rank Two student from the Ancient Academy in a single gulp, then let out a cruel burp and a cackle. "I haven't eaten a human in over two hundred years! How satisfying! How satisfying!"
As it spoke, its Demon Power intensified. It opened its massive maw and inhaled sharply. An Awakened Martial Cultivator, his face filled with terror, flew uncontrollably toward that gaping mouth.
