The Modu branch of China Construction Bank was located in the World Financial Mansion.
Similar to its branches in other cities, the first floor housed the main service hall, while the upper floors were for staff offices.
However, this particular branch was different: it operated around the clock, without closing on Saturdays or Sundays.
At most, they would just have fewer service windows open.
But today, despite the scheduled closing time of 5:00 p.m., there were still two or three people sitting on the sofas on the first floor, waiting.
They all looked outside in unison until they saw a young man with an upright posture striding quickly up the stairs.
