"Is that so?"
Jiang Wan shyly lowered her head. Lin Shen's scorching gaze was roving up and down her form, as if it could melt her on the spot.
"You've worked so hard during this time. Thank you for helping me fulfill my childhood dream of becoming an actress."
"So, I got a little gift for you. I hope you like it."
"I love it."
Lin Shen sighed in admiration. He stepped closer to Jiang Wan, took the folded dress from her, and draped it over his left arm. His right hand then wrapped around her soft, delicate waist as he suddenly teased her in a low voice.
"But I'm guessing this isn't the only gift you prepared for me, is it?"
"What else do you think there is?"
Jiang Wan nestled into Lin Shen's embrace, her beautiful eyes blinking playfully. She gave him a meaningful smile, like a little devil.
Clearly, they both knew exactly what was going to happen tonight, but neither wanted to be the one to bring it up and ruin the delicate, ambiguous atmosphere.
