The wind rustled Chen Yuan's hair.
He squinted, sniffing the damp, fishy air drifting from the water's surface.
"It stinks a little, and it smells like fish."
"I smell it too, but it's okay. You can cover your nose with your clothes, like this."
Jiangg Ning didn't seem cold. The zipper of her down jacket was open, and she was thoroughly enjoying the feeling of freedom as the wind blew against her. She had never felt more relaxed; all her worries were forgotten.
She pulled up a part of her jacket, covering half her face. Her voice came out muffled, "This way, you can't smell the stink."
"Oh, right." Chen Yuan nodded vigorously, thinking it was a great idea. He moved closer to Jiangg Ning and, under her strange, furrowed-brow gaze, pulled up a corner of her jacket and pressed it to his cheek. "Not only does it not stink anymore, but it's fragrant and blocks the wind."
Looking at him, Jiangg Ning covered her mouth and let out a few soft laughs, her eyes sparkling.
