"Yeah, the buffering was really obvious when we were trying to watch a movie yesterday. I forced myself through half an episode, but who knew it'd be even worse today? It's a struggle just to download an app."
Jiangg Yao dialed the hotel's front desk to ask about it.
A gentle and patient female voice answered from the other end of the line:
"I'm very sorry, Miss. It might be an issue with the hotel's construction materials. We've had a lot of guests complain about it already, and we're constantly trying to resolve it."
"But you're supposed to be a high-end hotel. Isn't this an easy thing to fix?"
"Um... It might take some time. Again, I sincerely apologize."
The staff member sounded sincere, so Jiangg Yao didn't have the heart to press the issue. She just replied, "Alright," and decided to let it go.
