"If I wasn't afraid of being laughed at, I'd totally take a picture of us at the entrance," Pei Youwen remarked.
"Haven't you been here a few times already?"
"Yes, but I want to take one every time."
"Alright. When we come out after the meeting, I'll secretly take a profile shot of you," Chen Yuan said in a low voice.
"Make sure you're discreet, Chairman Jiang. We don't want people laughing at us country bumpkins visiting the city."
The two of them were whispering because a tall, remarkably elegant woman was walking toward them.
She was dressed in a standard blazer, a form-fitting skirt, and stockings. Her high heels went CLICK-CLACK on the floor, and she was nearly as tall as Pei Youwen.
"Hello, Chairman Jiang. I have the right person, don't I? I've been waiting for a while." The woman reached them, quickening her pace and eagerly extending a hand to shake.
"Hello." Chen Yuan glanced up but didn't shake her hand.
