Jiangg Ning knew Chen Yuan had slept in Yaoyao's room last night. There were only two rooms, after all. Since Chen Yuan hadn't come to her, it was obvious he was with Yaoyao.
She had thought that after their conversation in the hallway, Chen Yuan would go and ask her what was wrong.
But in the end... well, she'd been reading too much into it.
After washing up, Jiangg Ning left the light on and waited for at least half an hour.
She didn't know what she was waiting for; she just felt like waiting.
When he didn't come, Jiangg Ning turned off the light and tossed and turned in bed for a long time. On one hand, she thought it was right for Chen Yuan to stay with Yaoyao. They were in a confirmed relationship, after all. Coming to her room would have required more consideration.
It was logical and reasonable... but for some reason, that logic didn't sit well with her.
...
The sun was high in the sky.
