She hadn't even finished speaking when her hand shot out, snatching at the air so fast it nearly left an afterimage.
Acting almost on pure instinct, Chen Yuan took several steps back until he hit the wall behind him.

"If you're so worried I'll slip, then stop dodging."
"If I don't dodge, then..." Chen Yuan glanced down at Yaoyao's pale hand, a trace of fear in his eyes.
"Then what? Are you afraid of me?" she asked, her gaze scrutinizing him.
"How could I be? I'm just worried that fooling around will aggravate your injury. You're recovering right now, so you need to be careful."
"You're getting better and better at lying. Where'd you learn that?" she scoffed.
