Taking Elixirs with similar effects, especially from similar Pill Formulas, yielded diminishing returns on Potential Points. Yang Chan had tested this and found that, eventually, they would stop providing any Potential Points at all.
However, the Pill Formulas from the Merak Sacred Land were more comprehensive and had different effects. Therefore, Yang Chan had high hopes for them, hoping they would continue to increase his Daily Potential Point Collection—especially those effective up to the Bone Marrow Cleansing Grandmaster Level.

The refining process was much more difficult, and besides, he didn't have enough Spirit Medicine on hand for trial and error. Thus, his most urgent task was to replenish his supply of Spirit Medicine.
