A man as tall as a brown bear, with flowing blond hair and a commanding presence, sat in the office. The suit he wore was stretched taut over his brawny muscles, looking as if it might rip apart at any moment.
The man held a wine glass, swirling it gently. The crimson liquid, as red as blood, spun inside the cup.
The office was immense, its decor a blend of the primitive, wild aura of an ancient tribe and the orderly elegance of the modern era.
The room was filled with all sorts of rare animal specimens. Walking inside was like stepping into a museum of fierce beasts.
Two massive elephant tusks, nearly three meters long; the head of a giant lion, its fangs bared ferociously; an enormous tiger pelt that covered almost half a wall; and a massive, taxidermied crocodile nearly eight meters in length...
...down to the world's fastest peregrine falcon and the most venomous species of snakes and spiders.
