The faces of the top officials of the Special Investigation Bureau in the conference room went pale upon hearing the voice from the screen.
"What do you mean?!"
Beichuan Tian asked for confirmation again. He knew exactly who the voice on the screen belonged to: a key figure in Japan, someone who truly had the power to make many of the nation's most important decisions.
"Were my words not clear enough? At any cost, using any means necessary, your Special Investigation Bureau units, in conjunction with the military and police, must eliminate that person."
The voice turned incredibly sharp.
"But sir, he's still inside the Tokyo City District. It's not the best time to act. It would likely cause immense destruction and lead to heavy losses in the city,"
Beichuan Tian continued.
'Trying to corner an expert of this caliber within an urban area... It was impossible to know how much damage it would cause, or how many casualties there would be.'
