"You're caught stealing, yet you're this arrogant? You even pulled a knife to threaten me. I've never met anyone like you," Lin Li said with a slight smile, though there was no humor in his eyes.
"Cut the crap and get the hell out of here," the skinny thief threatened, his eyes glinting menacingly at Lin Li.
"Skinny Monkey, shut your mouth!" the crew-cut man snapped. He looked at Lin Li's calm expression and seemed to realize something.
His expression suddenly grew tense. The right hand clutching the Spiritual Longsword trembled slightly, his palm slick with sweat.
"Boss, what's with you...?" The subordinate, having been yelled at by the crew-cut man, turned to look at his boss and called out.
He felt deeply wronged. 'Why would Boss yell at me like that?'
'Skinny Monkey? The nickname certainly fits him,' Lin Li thought, looking at the gaunt thief.
