Then, he handed the goods to the man in sunglasses standing next to him. The man took a look, then stuffed all the waterproof bags filled with merchandise into a large, woven plastic sack they had prepared.
"I've handed over the goods. I should get going. You guys need to get out of here fast. Be careful on your way back, and don't attract any attention from the Investigators."
The man in the wetsuit saw them check the merchandise and pack it all away, so he decided it was time to leave. But before he left, he added a word of caution.
It wasn't that he was particularly concerned for their safety; he was just worried that if they got caught, they might drag him down with them.
"Don't you worry! We've got plenty of experience. We won't get caught by any Investigators," the man with the gold earring said with a chuckle, pleased to have the goods in hand.
But the words had barely left his mouth when a voice suddenly rang out, proving him wrong instantly.
