As the village feast concluded, the villagers on stage prepared a special farewell performance for them.
Margaret Jennings was deeply moved. Wiping the corners of her eyes with a handkerchief, she said, "To think we're leaving so soon... I'm really going to miss it here."
Carina Sanders patted her on the back. "Don't be sad, Mom," she comforted.
The tour guide walked over from another table. "So, did everyone have a good meal? Did you all have fun?"
The guests all agreed in unison.
"First off, congratulations on successfully completing your final task. I'm sure today has been a memorable day, both for the villagers of Warren Isle and for all of you."
"These carefree days always fly by. This leg of our journey has come to an end. Please gather here at eight o'clock sharp tomorrow morning to take the chartered vehicle back to Veridia."
With that, the tour guide departed.
