With someone else speaking up, Renee Jennings couldn't press the matter. She just gave a slight smile. "Oh, is that so? It's fine, you can just catch up when we get back."
Nathan Lynch mumbled in agreement, his spirits sinking.
He glanced back longingly. He loved these carefree, happy days, free from the weight of endless schoolwork. But it was so hard to escape the life that awaited him, because everyone around him had such "high hopes" for him.
