Luke Lowell had just gotten hair extensions, styled into a handsome wolf cut with a few silver highlights along the edges. He thought he looked pretty cool.
But he definitely couldn't talk back. After all, his aunt's fighting prowess was astounding.
Luke Lowell pressed his legs closer together and didn't dare make a sound.
Pearl Chandler chuckled. "You can't blame the hairstyle for him being ugly. My son's just not that good-looking. He was even uglier before. This new style has made him barely passable."
Jane Chandler pursed her lips, still not satisfied.
Catching something in the corner of his eye, Luke Lowell felt like he'd been granted amnesty and immediately shouted, "Hey, my cousin is back! And he's with my cousin-in-law and my dear nephew, Ian!"
Jane Chandler just snorted coldly, showing no great enthusiasm.
Pearl Chandler watched the picture-perfect family of three, a hint of envy in her eyes. "How wonderful. I wonder when my son will finally get married."
