Walter Ford looked exhausted, and Jenna Shaw's heart ached for him.
"Maybe I'm overthinking it, but next time there's an event like this, I still hope you'll take me with you."
Jenna Shaw panned her phone over her outfit, then asked excitedly, "What do you think of my clothes? My sister-in-law helped me pick them out. Aren't they nice? She has such great taste."
"They're just okay. I don't like them. Can't you dress a little more ladylike? I'm sick and tired of seeing you in T-shirts and pants all the time."
"I think white dresses are the prettiest, especially ones with full skirts."
"Your hair is too short. You should get extensions when you have time. And by the way, I don't like permed or colored hair. Black hair is the most beautiful."
