Jared Woods pointed at the food nearby. Chelsea Raines wiped the sweat from her brow. "I know, I know. How did I give birth to such a glutton for a son? It's like I've had eight lifetimes of bad luck. Good thing we're rich, or you'd eat us into bankruptcy!"
Despite her words, Chelsea Raines picked up her chopsticks and served Jared some food. She turned her head to the side and asked, "I guess I was just fated to be your servant! Anything else you want to eat?"
Jared's eyes darted around, and he excitedly pointed out several more dishes.
Nathan Lynch quietly took in everything around him, his expression growing more lonely. He lowered his lashes slightly and pursed his lips.
He looked over at Renee Jennings. Just as he expected, she was fawning over the little girl named Six, giving him nothing but the cold back of her head.
